There is a mosquito in my room, something I wouldn't expect from a fully enclosed and air-conditioned property and my room is on the 5th floor, not ground. Supposedly have free airport pickup / drop-off, but was not mentioned any where. When asked, it need to be reserve 3-days ahead. 3-day ahead booking for a less than 10 min ride at a big modern city is, rather ridiculous. The road to hotel from MRT/airport is filled with homeless and stray dog that barks at passer-by. The bathroom design makes the room looks bigger, but lost some functionalities that I wouldn't rather compromised (i.e. far away mirror, far away garbage bin, far away facial tissue). Shower door have gap that leak water out to the floor outside. Weird reception design, make people second guessing where to stand when approaching. The rest are fine, room is comfy and spacious. Sort of walking distance to airport, but the route is not desirable.…
10-15 minute walk right to the airport or from. Not a western hotel so much, as the bathroom and shower have the eastern style. I would say a solid 2 star by western standards. Staff was friendly and courteous. Not a long term option for me.
The location of the hotel is perfect as it is just 5 minutes away from the hotel. The rooms were tidy and quiet. However, there were very few varieties for breakfast and the quality of the food needs improvement. Overall I had a pleasant stay at the hotel and would visit again.
Picked this hotel as it was walking distance from the Airport and good access to Kaohsiung's excellent MRT. And this worked really well. Rooms are good, modern, - stuff just works, reliable WiFi and with no fuzz. Dinner in hotel with the Taiwan/Japan fusion - very nice, - but then there was the breakfast- a big let-down for us non-asians. Almost nothing to choose from, - Monday morning did not even have toast, - how misirable
I made a reservation through Rakuten.com which is Japanese website. At first, they speak English very well. I sent an e-mail in advance in order to make sure that my reservation was surely made or not. They gave me a reply very quickly and their English was very polite, clear and seemingly kind. Location is ok. I can say this hotel is close to the MRT station and airport. Though this is not responsible for this hotel, it's a bit difficult for you to find something of convenience stores and restaurants around there. Breakfast buffet is awesome. The hall is very clean and wide enough. You can have a variety of nice foods. So in a nutshell, very recommendable hotel this is! Thank you! Arigato!
Had a great stay here. Its about under five mins cab ride from airport, but you can also easily walk through a park and along the road to get to the airport too. Go under the exit (1?) to cross the road and get back to the airport via the MRT. The cab back and forth was 150 NTD one way. We had the people at the front desk in the airport write the address in chinese for us as apparently the cabs do not speak english. The hotel itself had a nice breakfast buffet with some vegetarian options (salad, fruit, noodles) and the room was very clean, with a fridge, hair dryer, body wash, shampoo, etc. Everything I needed was there. nice big TV and bathroom was opulent. I'd recommend staying here for sure! I booked through a third party website and had no problems wiith check in I just gave them my paperwork. The service was excellent. I wanted to switch rooms last minute and it took a bit of explaining but they were extremely helpful (so was google translate lol)…
It was located near the airport with less than 5 mins ride by taxi. The staff was effective and the check in could be done quickly. Therefore, I could get into the room to take rest when I arrived there after 12 at mid night. The room was spacious. The bathroom was also spacious with all basic amenities. The breakfast buffet provided an adequate variety of food including both Taiwanese & Western style.
I did not stay at this hotel but my colleague did who reported on a good stay. It was very close to the airport (just a few minutes in a taxi). I had a breakfast meeting there the next morning and there was quite a range of items on offer at the buffet (which seemed to be the only option) and I could access wifi in the public area. The hotel seemed safe and quiet.
Seems a new renovation hotel and absolutely value for money. Staff is friendly and the room is comfortable. It is close to airport comparing with other hotels, around 15 minutes walk or 3 minutes by taxi (TWD 200). I recommend to take a taxi if you arrive Kaohsiung at night. Breakfast is okay. Wi-Fi signal is weak. Maybe it is because my room is at the end of the corridors. There is an outdoor car park. The closest MRT station is at the airport. Unless you rent a car, if you want to stay at Kaohsiung for sight seeing, I recommend you choose other hotels in downtown.
Arrived at 2:00am as flight delayed. Some of my friends have arrived earlier. Need the key card to operate the lefts. Good security. The room is large and very tidy. Very modern design. For a small hotel, the quality is excellent. Only get shower but good enough for fair price. The toilet and the shower rooms are separated. Convenient to couple or friends sharing a room. Will try breakfast tomorrow, fingers crossed for good quality too.
