I like hotel staff, everyone is so nice to me. Never better. Close by Taipei 101 & XinAnhe MRT, easy to shopping and walk around. There're many restaurants around the hotel, and really good taste. I'll come back visit again. Room is clean and comfort. Breakfast is ok, still have room for improvement. Price is average in this area. Lobby kinda low light and traditional style.
他的酒店位於市中心的好地方 (walking distance to 台北101, World Trade Center Taipei, TICC, Four Four South Village, and Xinyi Shopping District). 員工在控制冠狀病毒方面做了大量工作 (disinfecting, taking temperatures, providing hand sanitizer to all, even help you to get a face mask...). 我們在房間裡吃早餐可以保持社交距離 I definitely will put it on my top recommended hotel in Taipei list。
Came here again but this time there is no open breakfast, room service is still very good, here is reassuring that we here, because you have to take temperature before check in. Hope everything is going well.
Great hotel, I recommend everyone to stay in Taiwan. They have well appointed rooms, and staff was attentive got us checked in quickly. Bathroom was clean and updated. Breakfast was fantastic. Overall everything are great!
Introduced from a close friend, the hotel did not disappoint me. Very satisfied with the professional service attitude of the hotel staff. The hotel room feels very comfortable with full amenities. I feel like I really enjoy a wonderful stay in a very comfortable place. Definitely introduce it for my family and friends.
The Pacific Business hotel was absolutely worth it to be your choice to stay. I've been staying here for a couple of days in February 2020. The food was obviously delicious, the room was clean, and staff was friendly. I will definitely come back here in the future. Thank you
I really love this hotel and will recommend to all of my friends who want to stay and have a vacation in Taipei. Everything is good, the food is nice, the fitness centre is good for me. I really like the view from my hotel room cause it's close to Taipei 101. And believe me, the view is just amazing in the morning and evening. You will never be disappointed by the service and want to come back again, again, and again.
This review hurts to write, as the experience was okay right until the very end. I truly believe that the staff are the difference-maker between an average and excellent hotel. Pacific Business Hotel has everything it needs to be excellent, but at the end of the day, the staff are a letdown: Like many hotels I've stayed at in Asia (traveling here for 8 years), the staff were nice and spoke decent English, but strictly conform to policy, even under circumstances where they'd be better off being human. One major difference I've experienced at hotels like this in Taiwan is the staff hide behind policy, and fail to show flexibility even when a situation before them clearly displays the boundaries of the system. In this particular case, I had stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. I was beginning to feel that this will be my "go-to" hotel in Taipei for the next few years. On the 4th day, I booked one more night using Agoda as the price difference is enormous (the front desk even told me to use Agoda as the price is much cheaper. This is a completely different ridiculous topic of its own), so I booked it. Before Checking-in, I notified the front desk that I had an emergency work situation and needed to take the first flight out of Taipei back to Beijing. I asked if I could be refunded for the room, the front desk kept telling me that since I paid Agoda, I can't be refunded for the room. I explained that paying Agoda, means that you're eventually paid for a room as well, that I cannot stay in. I said if they want to charge me a full night in an empty room, that's their choice, but it is certainly not what any reputable 4 (even 3 star) hotel should do. I was in a hurry to catch my flight and told them I wish I had time to figure this situation out, but to please email me if there's anything they can do for me. I never received any email, so I reached out two days ago. I asked if they would honor the night I didn't stay in the hotel. They didn't respond. So I emailed again asking if I could be refunded. The Reservation Manager, Mr. Alex Yang, responded several times trying to use the same Agoda junk he used when I checked out originally. He keeps saying Agoda was paid so I can only get a refund from them, like I'm an idiot who doesn't understand that Agoda is paid, then pays your hotel! He also claims that he left the room empty to honor my booking (even though he knew I left, didn't check in, and was flying out of the country). This type of behavior is what makes people hate airlines, and hotels like the Pacific Business Hotel. It's no longer an industry of hospitality when people treat you like you're some robot on the other side of a booking site. When you're looking at them and they try to recite some arbitrary hotel rule that pays no importance to a situation at hand. Shame on all of the managers who allow these policy-driven behaviors to distract the hotel staff from being above all else, hospitable. I won't blame the front desk staff as they seemed nice, but a bit under-trained, to handle the situation. I'm sure the manager will have some protocol response to this review, but at the end of the day - this hotel isn't truly going to compare to other 3-5 star options in Taipei with it's cutthroat attitude towards guests who come and go. A free room while the hotel is operating under capacity, or at least a discount, would have been appropriate at even much less reputable establishments. I hope this changes in the future, 8-year Hotel Veteran in Asia (first 2-star rating) Nick…
The newly renovated room look more spacious. The old room used to be stuffy and you need to turn on aircon while you are away. The toiletry provided is quite nice as well. Only downside is that it is on 12 floor which is 1 floor above the lobby. No view and feel almost like ground floor. As for location, well situated next to 101 and TWTC. Around 10min walk. Many food option nearby. A small night market about 10min walk. Hotel breakfast is nothing fantastic but it is fair for business trip where I do not want to stuff myself with a lot of food. Overall... good job for the new room design.
Great hotel, stayed here on anniversary and received a pleasant gift and lovely hand written card, it has most of the facilities that you need, even free DIY laundry service! Superb breakfast, fast wifi, only cons is beds could be less firm and that distance to mrt is a bit of a walk (about 6 mins brisk walking), though we didn't mind the exercise. Would stay here again, thanks to all the team here, we had a great time!
