Room is clean. Service is good. Not bad for the price, pretty cozy but can’t book a room through phone in the evening is quite inconvenient. If you leave a review on TripAdvisor you can park your car for free.
The front desk service was quick and friendly. The hotel room has nice deco. The amenities was nice. They provide free valet parking. The bathroom was comfortable size with great decoration. They have free sauna which was great to relax. Most important if all, the room price was great.
I spent a night between 20/1/2-20/1/3 at Chateau de Chine Xinzhuang Hotel (翰品酒店新荘) and the service I received during my stay at the hotel especially from concierge employee named Scott (劉先生) was truly exceptional
I was most impressed by the check-in service and was pleasantly surprised the staff at guest reception still recognized me. Overall, the friendly and helpful service by Sandy and colleagues, particularly their attention to detail and taking the initiative to offer their assistance whenever required, made my stay in Xinzhuang a very pleasant experience.
4 star hotel with 1 star service. I honestly had better service at La Quinta and comfort inn. This really is a pretty hotel with nice things cramped in a tiny space. I understand that many weddings occur here. With that being said, nothing really prepared me for the awful service. I arrived 11/6 at 1pm after a long workweek, a long flight and layover wanting to rest for a little before heading to the hospital to visit my sick Grandmo. I was told: no room switch (for 1 bed instead of 2), no early check-in, no way to add breakfast to room charge. The front desk did not even check on the computer when she told me this. I ended up staying at the hospital for 4 more hours before ever seeing any comfort. After passing out at the hotel that night I woke up dreading to spend 7 more nights there so I checked out the very next morning. When I exited the hotel lobby, there was a taxi waiting in front which there are loads of taxi all over the road. I attempted to utilize that taxi but the front door person even said no. In all honesty, I feel bad for the hotel staff. They all seem very young and very stressed while running their heads off. It really makes me wonder if they are very understaffed or has high turnover of staff because they don’t seem to be organized with all the paperwork and check-ins. Nonetheless, I ended up heading back to Taipei proper and getting a business hotel for the remainder of my trip. Kudos to Hotels.com staff for helping me get a refund. Even though I am willing to risk that money not to be treated this way. Advice: if you are on vacation and have loads of patience, this is not a bad option even though convenience store isn’t very close. Hotels in Taipei proper are honestly much more convenient and knows what good service is.…
Good basic hotel, spacious rooms, especially on our 2nd visit when we were upgraded which was nice (did two nights before and after a Taiwan Tour). Staff very accommodating and welcoming. Had their transport to and from hotel and was on time and really appreciated before/after long flights. Breakfast normal buffet. The downside of the hotel was we got there at 11pm at night and would dearly love to have had a nightcap but they close the lounge (which is really the Chinese restaurant) at 10am. The buffet which they advertised was not open any evening and the only other option was the Chinese restaurant on the 6th floor - we ate there one evening but obviously not expecting anyone as had to set up a table for us and ended up just us two as the only ones on a round table of eight and no other tables taken... Found somewhere else to eat other nights - they seem to be missing a trick there and no bar/lounge to sit and relax with a drink, just the restaurant. But apart from that a very comfortable hotel and staff lovely…
We stayed here for two nights on 14 and 15 December 2018. This was our last hotel for Taiwan, and it did not disappoint us. The hotel combines French and Chinese elements in its design. The room was very well-furnished. Service was good. The nearest metro station, Touqianzhuang, was a mere 6-minute walk away. The nearest Family Mart was a 5-minute walk away as well. Further away down the main street towards the east you will also find IKEA and Carrefour.
Fantastic luxurious hotel across the river from Taipei in Xinzhuang District. The hotel is very modern, with comfortable rooms and a lovely glass elevator. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful, even dealing in English. The hotel is a slight walk (maybe 5-10 minutes) from the nearest Metro station. The nearby Xinzhaung night market (about 10 minute walk) has some really good local dining options. The hotel's breakfast buffet is a bit ordinary, however. But overall this is great value for the price, especially if you don't need to be in the middle of Taipei.
Excellent environment and wonderful service. Happy hour and private sauna give us happiness and relaxation every time we stay here. Business trips could be so much nicer when you chose a hotel like this.
This was my first time staying at Taiwan, and it was excellent. The hotel is gorgeous and fairly built. I’ve seen bad reviews of other hotels being overly loud, but this hotel is so quiet and peaceful. They serve breakfast until 10 and there is peaceful music playing in the lobby. Our hotel room had a full view of the river and a nice glimpse of the city. It was a beautiful experience for the first time in Taiwan, even though it was rainy and typoon season. There is a spa that you can reserve. It was a very relaxing experience for my family and I. • • • • • Chateau de Chine was stunning in every way, excellent for families and also for adults. I say this hotel is a 5 star, no doubt.
