We stayed at Doris Home - a cosy, pet-friendly accommodation. The location is really close to the Sun Moon Lake (walking distance to Shuishe Pier). Rooms are really awesome and in good taste. Design and decoration is related to cats. You have panoramic windows and big bathtub. Also, you won’t be lonely staying at Doris' because there are lots of adorable cats and kittens available to play with (the name is after one of them). They also serve delicious breakfast and coffee in the morning.

Our family stayed for two nights. The location is an easy walk from the bus stop, free parking is also available on site. We were welcomed right away. Greg and Kim explained the procedure with check in, breakfast, hotel amenities, etc. They even gave us a map and suggested some sightseeing that we could do that afternoon. They gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation for supper. The breakfast was hot and fresh. Hotel was very clean, modern, quiet. There are several friendly cats that live in the hotel. I would definitely return!

The reception lady was very friendly and helpful. Response to all concern and inquiries with great detail. The room is spacious and clean. Bed and pillow are firm thus we had a sound sleep. The breakfast is really tasty and delicious.

Lovely people at arrival, speaking well English which is not a must, but very convenient. Great room. Super up to date, classy, clean, great bathroom with super tub. Great views. Aircon that works. Variation in breakfast, good breakfast. Only love! Oh, and the cats downstairs are really amazing to!!

혼자 가는 여행은 처음이라 숙소는 깨끗하고 좋은곳에서 자고싶어서 가격은 좀 높았지만 여기로 결정했습니다 처음 방에 들어가고 너무 놀랐어요 사진보다 더 좋았거든요! 침대는 너무 포근하고 안락했고 화장실이며 바로 산이 보이는 창문까지 퍼펙트했습니다~~~! 밖에 안나가고 방에만 있고 싶었어요 ㅎㅎ 직원분들도 아주 친절했구요 영어로 대화도 잘 됐어요 르웨탄 가신다면 이 숙소 찐으로 추천드립니다! It was literally AWESOME! I really had a great time here. It was cozy,comfortable and also friendly. I'm not sure you can remember me but Thank you for recommending me dinner menu at that day! I hope I can stay here again :)

Sun moon lake is one of the place we visit quite often. Typically we stayed at the hotels which are pretty nice. Doris home is warm with home feelings which hotels can’t offer. The host is great. We will definitely stay there again.

Believe the reviews! This is a fabulous place to stay. A very cool building, so many little touches that add character and fun. The warmest welcome from the super friendly team. Amazing pumpkin french toast for breakfast. Perfect night's sleep in a spacious room with incredible views. Beautiful bathroom with an outdoor tub. Oh and of course, the cutest kittens! Loved it and hope to be back.

We stayed in Doris Home for 1 night and it's a marvelous experience. Everywhere is decorated with cats' pictures and figures and this just makes the place so warm & relaxing. I think the in-room facilities and bedding in Doris Home is up to 4/5-star standard and the 5 lovely cats walking around are bonus. Staff is very friendly. I like the breakfast arrangement which makes the dining area less crowded and each of us can have what we want to have for the meal. They also offer us travel advice and assist in restaurant reservation. We will definitely come back again, for the cats and Doris Home.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay! Rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. It is within walking distance, around 10-15min walk, to Sun Moon Lake and eateries. As mentioned by previous reviewers, this Minsu has 4 resident cats, so ideal for cat lovers! Most of the cats will leave you alone except for the youngest one - a little playful. Forgot to mention - breakfast was simply delicious!
