I stayed in this hotel for 3 consecutive months, from 4th September to 4th December. The structure is large and furnished with statues and paintings of excellent workmanship and the staff is always polite and helpful but there are some peculiarities that make it possible to improve and I tell you what I mean: the rooms are not soundproofed and you can hear too many night noises that can also be very annoying. The cleaning of the rooms is done in a hurry and I noticed some shortcomings. The swimming pool and gym (with obsolete machinery) have limited hours and are often not usable. I must report a particular note for correctness because I believe that there was a behavior on the part of the management, somewhat depressing and I go into detail, I met a homeless lady, who slept under a concrete gazebo, located in front of the hotel and in order to help her, I asked the dining room manager if I could donate my breakfast vouchers for which I would have renounced to use them personally. My request was accepted with the clause that the vouchers did not have to be from the previous days, all smooth for the first 4 days then I was joined by the director of the structure who pointed out to me that the lady in question was not welcome due to her mediocre clothing and furthermore he was making a request for payment of 700 TWD on me for a lunch made by the same lady. I replied politely that I had requested and obtained authorization for the sale of breakfast meal vouchers but that I had never authorized anyone to do otherwise than what I agreed. To avoid further and useless discussions, I gave my consent to load the previous meal on my account but I pointed out that I did not consider it absolutely justified.…
Service: Reception who was not polite and didn’t go through all service in hotel. The introduction was very unclear and they just used their finger to point out everything.... Spa time should be from 06:30, however, the staff clocked in around 07:00... Overall, can’t feel the passion for the staffs who work in this hotel. They all look like to chat with each other but don’t want to provide any service to customers... Location: Very near to Night Market, just cross the park which is in front of hotel. Room: Space is quite large. That’s why I put my two points for room space.
I highly recommend Hotel Kuva Chateau. The hotel is nice and close to the airport, you pay NT$ 600-750 one way. There is a big park in front of the hotel where you can enjoy walking or jogging or exercise. Zhongli night market is about 10 minute walk where you can enjoy Taiwan street food. The Executive double room with 1 queen bed is a huge room with a huge bed. The bathroom is also big and has a bath tub and bath robes are provided. I will stay here again.
My friends from the states always choose this hotel for their business stay. I booked in September and was just what I expected. Excellent for business and family stay. Near subway station (10 minute walk) and night market. Enjoy the stay this time.
This was my first time staying in this hotel, and it didn’t disappoint. The rooms were to a high standard, lots of excellent choices of food, fantastic bakery in the lobby area, great delicate cakes to choose from, highly recommend trying this very high class hotel
