My friends and I stayed here during our Taiwan trip. The staff were approachable and friendly. I actually liked them, they're always willing to help. However, some of their facilities are not that good, the bathroom door seems to be broken, it will tear apart soon, and their bed and pillows smell old. The worst part was when I woke up the next day, I noticed that my left leg got so many hives and they were so itchy. We informed the staff in the lobby and they immediately gave us a new room and gave me an ointment. The second room looked better though, but still my hives spread to my right leg. Both legs were full of hives and the itchiness was really awful. Until now, I'm still suffering from the bites I got from their infested bed. :(

We had to drag luggage down and up steps to go out the back entrance of the train station. After we got there, the desk girl called a man to interpret. He said they own more than one building, so he paid for a car to take us to another place, which was in the front side of the train station. It was called Baoshan Hotel. The wall paper was peeling off walls and ceilings. I asked for a 2nd towel and showed the girl what I needed, so she gave me 2. I asked for a wake-up call. She called the man to translate, and someone did knock on our door the next AM. The room was tiny, but clean, and the bed was comfortable enough. There was plenty of hot water for showers, but the knob that changes from shower to water faucet was broken. There were lots of places nearby to buy food. We could not get wifi until the hotel staff typed a password for us. Our room was right next to the lobby, and it was very noisy until 9:30PM. There were steps, no elevator. They called a taxi for us early in the AM to get to the airport, so I did not see any breakfast, which was advertised.
