The hotel is very well located, next to Miramar Entertainment Park and 5 mins walk to the train station. Adjacent to the hotel is a nice small plaza that has lots of F&B outlets. Our room was on the 9th floor overlooking 101 building, far and small, but not too bad at all. The room is very big and spacious with a modern design. Love the design of the wallpaper and carpet. Appreciate the hotel for using a local brand toiletries. The shower has strong water pressure which is a big plus point. Not forgetting the smart toilet that would keep the seat warm during winter. The bed, pillows and linens are comfortable offering a good night sleep. Breakfast spread was OK. We had our welcome drinks at the bar. The space is pretty, quiet and cozy. CONS No bellman, so nobody to help with the luggage. The entrance automatic door need to be fixed, it opens up really slowly. The front desk staffs could use a little of energy. They all look so tired and never greet or acknowledge guests passing by. Not even an eye contact. F&B staffs need to work faster. Breakfast time, we noticed it took a while for the dishes to be replenished leaving empty shaving dishes. Same thing with the Bar, it took a long time for them to serve us with two glasses of white wine. Overall, we had a pretty good stay at Indigo.…
Interior design is very good. Very stylish and unconventional. Staying in a suite and the sitting room area is very nice. Breakfast is very good. Especially the egg station chef (17&18 Dec 2022) is very good. Eggs are excellently cooked (not overcooked). I tried fried egg, omlette & sunshine. Huge balcony & very comfortable.
Such a Wonderful place to stay. Stayed here twice in my 2 weeks in Taiwan. Beautiful and clean room. Really appreciate the warm and friendly service at reception. Walking distance to carrefour if u need stuff from supermarket. Otherwise there is also another mall with alot of food options. Even if you don't want to walk 5mins, there is a "food court" (albeit an expensive one) linked to hotel. Good selection of food there too.
Nice hotel with very near to miramar mall having flier and mrt station which connects to all the tourist destinations and market places. Food is nice so as the staff of the hotel. Bar area is also good with great city view. Was my quarantine hotel and a the staff helped me a lot during my stay!!!
I can’t really say the best but definitely I think can qualify for 4 stars if I have a chance to use the facility. Stayed here as part of Taiwan border control and need to stay at this quarantine hotel. All meals provided for 8 days and I think I they can be flexible to cancel the meal on 4th days when we are all free to leave the room. The drink provided is sufficient and you can text them for more food or drink or change your meal daily. One thing to feedback is that the breakfast delivered late on the last few days of my stays and I need to call to deliver. The service is prompt and they deliver all my needs like clean towel , chopstick, soya sauce etc .. However, there’s no working desk but a small dining table with a Low chair setting, it would be bad for your back after days of sitting to work. If you stay here not to work, you probably ok with it . Great service and location too.…
I am currently staying here under quarantine rules prior to going to work. It is my first time in Taiwan, or Asia for that matter and to be honest, I was dreading it as I had heard horror stories about the food and different hotels the guys had stayed in. The initial impression of the Indigo hotel was very good, obviously a new hotel, but immaculate. The quarantine personnel check-in process was very easy to follow and I was guided to the quarantine entrance by a very polite and helpful girl from Front Office and then provided step by step guidance via Whats app messages and video from a friendly guy on the front desk. Once in the room I was impressed by the size and the huge window, also a very nice bathroom with plenty of floor space to work out / exercise. I asked if it would be possible to loan a foam exercise mat and a brand new one was at my door within minutes. The same can be said of the food and any other items that you request as an extra - I am not particularly used to Asian food but have tried everything sent to the room, all is very well presented and from what I ate, was very tasty, fruit and salad are very fresh also. I had asked for extra cereal, milk and fruit to compensate for my limited palette, this was sent straight up without hesitation. I usually travel around Europe and have stayed in some nice hotels but the Indigo is by far the best I have stayed in, I would have went mental if I had to stay in some of the previous hotels for over a week, but managing just fine here and that is mostly due to the exceptional positive attitude and friendliness of the Front Office staff, an easy 11 out of 10. The previous review from worldtraveller0717 seems way off to what I have experienced, seems like a serial complainer and the only one to leave a bad review. I think he would twist if he were staying in Buckingham Palace.…
Folks, this is not a friendly hotel. What kind of hotel collects 100nt for ubereats deliveries? or set a 1 hr time frame when supplies will be delivered? or requires you to fill out an online form for supplies each day (towels, toiletries, sheets....etc) ? This place feels like a prison. All their policies are set up to make their jobs easier and make your stay miserable. And they will frequently use "quarantine hotel" as an excuse but the bizarre thing is that they are still chargining regular rates. And how is "quarantine hotel" an excuse? They are simply understaff and management sets bad policies. I am paying roughly 160us$ per night for 14 nights. In addition, the mattress is hard if you are used to western beds you are in for a torture. I called to ask for a softer matress and all they could do was give me extra blankets to put on top of the matress. TV channels are very limited, the only olympic channels available were badminton, ping pong and archery, seriosuly ? and there is No tub despite having a pretty large room, most of the rooms do not havr a balcony, including mine (so it really feels like a prison), Food arrives COLD everyday...and needless to say it also tastes bad. i order ubereats on a daily basis. Customer service is slow and rude. I dont get the necessary supply everyday. for example, today i am STILL waiting for bath towels....and its almost midnight. I blame it on inadequate training and poor management. The night manager "Clare" in particular was very rude and unhelpful. She suggested that I should look for other hotels after i complained that i still have not received my supplies. What kind of customer service is this ? She needs to be re-trained or placed in a different position. She is unfit to lead. Avoid this hotel at all cost. It is not worth 160$/ night. This hotel is closer to 80$/night. ***UPDATE Supplies finally came at 10:40pm AFTER i called the police. They leave me with no chance. But this is the first time EVER where i need to call police for hotel service. ridiculous service attitude in Taiwan and not worthy of the IHG brand. I will def. never stay here or go dine at TR again.…
This is my second stay at this Indigo. I had a great stay last year and decided to take my parents here this time to celebrate my dad’s birthday. I informed the hotel in advance, and they kindly arranged adjacent rooms for us, an upgrade due to my Spire Élite membership, and a birthday cake for my dad. Compared to the first stay, I saw a great improvement in the happy hour’s F&B offerings. In addition to the pork ribs and self-pressed toasts, there were a dessert section (replacing the fruit selection identical to the breakfast one) and made-to-order coffee/tea. Service, though still somewhat inconsistent, became better as well. We also spent a few minutes at the terrace part of the restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.…
This is definitely the best value IHG hotel in Taiwan I have stayed at so far. As a Spire Élite member, the hotel provides complimentary happy hour and breakfast for two, in addition to the standard amenities (welcome drink, welcome snacks, and the 399TWD food and beverage coupon). The happy hour is especially impressive. Starting this month, the hotel is offering pork ribs and self-pressed toasts with a variety of spreads for the happy hour, on top of a rather limited choice of alcoholic beverages and carbonated soft drinks. The happy hour is definitely good enough and intended to be a dinner alternative. For breakfast, there is an extensive buffet that includes an egg station. There are also two choices of main course, and you are not limited to one order per person! The service at the restaurant, where I had breakfast, lunch, and happy hour, was unfortunately inconsistent. David Wang at the restaurant deserved a round of applause for his exceptionally attentive service. Some of his colleagues were also very helpful. In contrast, there were a couple of clueless staff members. In fact, one of them went on to tell me at breakfast that we had no choice of omelette fillings – they always put vegetables and only an ovo-lacto choice was offered. Boy, was I surprised! Fortunately, I spotted chopped ham soon afterwards and asked another if that was supposed to be for the omelette, and of course the answer was a yes. The more senior member then clarified with his junior counterpart that we indeed have choices when it comes to omelette fillings. We stayed here for 2 nights. While there were no great upgrade opportunities for the first night, the hotel was able to upgrade us to a much better room for the second night. I especially appreciated their arrangement: They intentionally put our room for the first night next to the room for the second night. Not only was the room move much easier that way, but they also came upstairs to help us with the move, so we saved the hassle of going downstairs. My friend left his earphones in the previous room, and the hotel was quick to find them and put them in our new room while we were away. We would like to thank the housekeeping team for their attention to detail! Both the manager who helped us at check-in and Alice Yeh who assisted us at check-out were very professional, knowledgeable, and resourceful. Alice was also very quick to help retrieve the umbrella that I left in my room. Just like the restaurant, though, some other receptionists did not seem to know much and couldn’t answer questions related to members’ benefits and dining options. The hotel provided a very good service overall and treated us very well, especially considering that I booked this stay using points. If the hotel could just deliver a more consistent service exemplified by their more experienced staff members, it would have been perfect.…
We stayed here months before and decided to come back again during this holiday. We booked a reward room and were lucky enough to be able to stay in one of the larger rooms at 6F. The room is pretty spacious and the mountain view is great as well. All the facilities inside the room are well-maintained and areas like the corner or closet are kept clean and tidy. We enjoyed the complimentary drinks at the restaurant and were greeted by a warm and sincere hospitality service from Hazel and David. Really appreciate their enthusiasm and energetic attitude. We got a call from the service team who has prepared us a dessert for our anniversary celebration, unfortunately, we were not available in the room until late that night and didn't have the chance to taste it. The check-out process was a little bit slow due to the crowdedness around noon, and it would be great if all personnel were on deck to handle the flow. Overall, it's been another great experience for our second stay here at Indigo, and we will definitely visit soon.…
