Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Apparently this hotel is run by an affiliate of Cathay Pacific. I don't know if it's still the case... The fridge had cola and Sprite on the first visit. I appreciate that they provide two bottles of water every day. The second floor has a lot of space with sofas, and the back of the second floor is the breakfast venue in the morning. It's a spacious space where you can relax, and the drink bar is available for free. Unlike the space in front of the front desk, it's a good space to have a meeting without worrying about being seen by others. Directly in front of the hotel entrance, there is a 7-Eleven diagonally across the street, which is convenient. The hotel staff were very kind and left a good impression. I was happy just to hear them try to speak Japanese. The room was spacious enough, and the bathroom was clean. The windows are large, and the view outside is open, so the room is open and bright. Not for business , as cannot provide good wifi, but room and service are good. 5 mins walk from MRT station. Hotel provide robot assist to delivery your Uber eat order which is very nice especially during COVID , hotel located in business area but unable provide good wifi, so not sure which type of clients they are looking , as location will not be tourist consider. My friend and I booked this hotel for a quick catch-up in Taipei, after reading all the good reviews here we decided to go with Hotel Cozzi for its affordable rates and convenient location.
Unfortunately due to the ongoing pandemic back in February, I was forced to cancel my trip but my friend went ahead and stay anyways.
The twin bedroom is very spacious as you can see, and she only has good things to say about this hotel. It’s also conveniently located within walking distance to the metro station so it was easy to get around.
The hotel was really thoughtful for providing masks for my friend during her stay as well, prioritising their travellers safety during this sensitive period of time. Will definitely book with them the next time I come travel to Taipei!

The power has surged in our room now 10 times in our 3 day stay! Theres nothing crazy plugged in & each night it turns off & back on making every light in our room come on! The bathrooms are glass doors, so keep that in mind if you come with someone you better be comfortable with them! Also, you can not check in until the very minute it strikes 3:01 pm.

My hubby and I brought our 4 years old to Taipei on 1 Jan. Unlike our previous couples / friends trip, I needed to make sure I get a room easy to access by train, large room, comfortable bed, etc as we were bringing our kid.
Picked this based on location and comment. I end up love this hotel soooo much.... 1 minute away from train station; friendly staff; nice breakfast; large room; family mart and starbuck are just downstairs; Supermarket and restaurants including a few famous ones are just minutes away; high hygiene standard; high quality hotel guests as well.
Will definitely stay here again!!!

Had an amazing stay at the Hotel Cozzi Taipei Minsheng branch. This local hotel has everything the chained hotel has to offer and some more. Great service all around. Breakfast, while not extravagant, has everything you need including both western and Taiwanese specialties. Rooms are larger than other local hotels. Has a very Japanese theme to this place. Small gym but acceptable. Excellent all around.

It was still new, so it was very clean. It was well-cleaned, and they left it clean even when it was late. The breakfast buffet changed the menu every day and was delicious. It's also close to Xingtian Temple MRT station, so it's convenient for going out. There are two Starbucks nearby, and a Family Mart and a 7-Eleven across the street, so it's convenient. You won't have any trouble finding somewhere to eat. The only thing that's unfortunate is that I sent emails in Japanese and Chinese to inquire about the lost property, but I didn't get a reply. I guess that can't be helped.

Great hotel! Quite well centered in the Zhongshan district. Bus and metro lines not far away. Very good breakfast. Modern, spacious and comfortable room. Good soundproofing. Friendly welcome. A very good address that I recommend!

My usual Taipei haunts were either full or too pricy so I trolled through Expedia and Trip Advisor and plucked this hotel out of thin air. None of my local Taipei colleagues had heard of it because I guess it's pretty new.
Turned out to a well designed, hotel, with a very nice boutique feel to it. Check in was quick and easy, and such helpful pleasant staff. In fact I found this to be true during my entire three days.
Lighting fast free Internet. A room where everything felt spacious and designed for business traveller. Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was not extensive but everything I had was really well prepared/cooked. Nice spacious dining area where you could easy relax if you wanted to. Only complaint was the coffee, just weird tasting. But unfortunately seems to a be a common issue in Chinese hotels. There's a Starbucks a block away if you need something a little more upmarket.
Their restaurant on the first floor was also a great find. One gets so used to being gouged by hotels for food but this was really good value. Great caesar salad and my pasta was really well cooked and tasty.
Small things make all the difference. They arranged a cab to airport as I had a 3.50am start. Checked before I came down on which terminal I needed and had everything ready to go.
Will not hesitate to stay again!
