Everything in the room and services from the staff are great except a green exit light in the room, it's not dim like a night light, it's bright and it will affect your sleep. I have never been to a hotel room with a green exit light at the room door, it's in the room not out side the room, it's pity. Otherwise, there's a spa bath tub in junior king room, hotel is generous, providing free drinks and pineapple cookies. They also look after your oral hygiene well, other than the standard toothbrush and toothpaste, it has floss and mouthwash! Staff are very polite and courteous. Excellent location, if you are staying there, take exit 4 (it has an elevator and escalator for your luggage, only slightly further away from exit 3 at the same side of the hotel) at Zhongshan MRT station instead of exist 3 (only has stairs),

Centrally located in taipei, with train station just a few steps from the hotel. Room is quite comfortable and well furnished. Minibar items were free for consuming. Breakfast was included but was limited with the choice of food.

I previously stayed at a different location in Taipei and it was definitely not as good. The NanShi is very smart, clean and the staff really helpful - no request was beneath them. Would definitely stay here again

This hotel was recommended to me by a friend, and I can see why. A great place to stay in a superb central location. The metro exit is literally just outside! Trendy Japanese shopping mall over the road (on the corner) very nice to mooch around. My room was super quiet.. to be fair, my window was looking onto a fire escape! But I wasn't here for the views. Slick modern room, super comfortable bed with tv, dark and trendy decor. Bathtub with jacuzzi function and TV, with a wetroom shower. The only annoyance was the Japanese toilet lid flips open whenever you walk past it! But I found it kind of funny. Breakfast was fine, not amazing but certainly competent enough! Any more than my two nights here and I think I would've got bored of it. Reliable, and classy. I'd definitely stay here again if i came back.

Let's start off with the positives: Fantastic location! Located in an area of Taipei that is bustling with upscale shopping, food, activities. Professional staff: Everyone I interacted with from the staff were top notch professional. Excellent English skills. Now the rest: Breakfast: Cold runny eggs. Nearly raw bacon. Limited selection. Day two, no eggs at all. The room: Quite possibly the tiniest room I have ever stayed in. Cramped and busy. There was an obnoxious exit light above the hotel door that reflected off of a mirror directly into my eyes. Painful experience. The bed is very firm. My room had a fantastic view of a wall. I would assume that some rooms have a better view. Certainly not room 1005. If you are looking for a very simple place to sleep, this would be okay for you. If you are looking for a luxury spacious room, look elsewhere.

I received a call at 4:30am the SAME DAY as my reservation that it was CANCELLED! Can’t be any less unprofessional than this! Ridiculous! I am having to scramble at the last minute to find a hotel but prices are so high and there is very low availability because I’m making the reservation the same day!

I used your hotel this week. I like your interior, I like your service, I like your hospitality. Thank you for giving my mother a birthday card. She looked very very happy. This was the first time such an event and she was impressed. And thank you for helping me to find my cell-phone. I'm very grateful. I could find cell-phone. I like your hotel. When I go to Taiwan, I use your hotel again. Thank you.

There are a few things I like about this room - jacuzzi with underwater color changing lights, bath tub TV, free drinks, nice coffee machine, electrical blinds, spacious size, comfortable bed. However, the one thing that ruined everything is the noise. Our room is on 3/F window facing the main road, window glass is single layer with close zero noise insulation capability. The traffic and other street noise constantly bugged us.

The staff was very friendly helpful and may I say the female receptionist were very cute. We got the Jr. King, well appointed, very clean, automated toilet, jacuzzi with a TV and shower area. Down side is there is little space to unpack your clothing, but that was just a minor set back. Location is great, just a few meter to the MRT station, from where you can go anywhere. Will definitely book there again.
