Hidden in the back alley but surprisingly just a stone throw away from subway station. Hotel delivers breakfast to room but with limited choices, you will get bored for prolonged stay. Plus point: free use of washing machine and dryer.
Checked in for a night due to late arrival. I would say the 1st thing you get is warm greetings from the front desk staffs, their attentive and great service saved their hotel from a 2 star review. Rooms Pro: Very very spacious room and bathroom. Quite surprising as the hotel is pretty small and located behind a hip and trendy hotel from Starwoods (Aloft Hotel). Conveniently located beside a mini night market with everything you need from a fulfilling supper to a nutritious breakfast. Hotel facilities were minimal but sufficient. Cons: This hotel needs a makeover of their rooms pronto. The bathroom has weird orientation, you'll need to see it to believe it. Carpet was old and desperately needs a change. Didnt like the pillow but it's my preference, never liked soft pillows. Really not a bad hotel as it's also conveniently located near a mrt and the customer service are probably the only thing which attracts regulars if any. Please renovate your rooms, it is unfair for your staff to outshine your rooms so much with their excellent and warm personality. And their breakfast provided? Forget it, it's not worth the waking up so early in the morning.…
It's totally dirty, bed sheets and the bathroom. There is no breakfast already, just sandwich or omlette delivered to your room. Very old furnished rooms. My room even does not have a window (same price). AC is quite noisy. Not recommend at all. Not close to city center ,about 5 -6 km but close to metro station. Receptionist is not good on English speaking and not hepful at all. Very low value for money
It's easy to reach with MRT. There are lots of shops such as 7-11,McDonald, pxmart(全聯), and local market-華山市場.The good location can avoid the noise from the street and make me have a good sleep. And all the staff are so nice and friendly.
Pros: good location (only 3 minutes walk from shandao temple station, which is 1 stop away from Taipei main station, from where you can take the train, high speed rail, or bus to the airport). Friendly and helpful staff. Free breakfast delivered to your room in the morning, or if you're rushing off they'll prep it in takeaway containers for you (btw the porridge is quite nice). Convenient stores nearby. Cons: not very clean..there were (faint) stains on the bedsheets, visible haphazard repairs on walls, and dusty ceilings/corners. Try not to get a first floor room - the reception area is noisy, even late into the night. Overall an average, slightly dated hotel at a great location. If you're not a clean freak this place is a good, value for money choice.
