This is a new-built & very clean hotel. And really good location. It takes 2 min by walk to station. But! Really difficult to find out. Almost all taxi drivers don't know where this hotel is. I arrived at Taipei in midnight. I asked many drivers. But all drivers I asked, don't know where this hotel is. So I used google app to find this hotel out. But once you recognize the location, there is not any another problem. Very clean, quiet and cozy. But not 24 hours reception, so if you reach here in midnight, nobody there but entry phone. When you talk hotel staff via phone, he will come with room key. It will take few minutes. Anyway please enjoy your trip of Taipei!

Room is clean. Near the train station but not easy to find. Space is limited, we took the four bedded room. Cannot fit in any large luggage, good for backpacker/ couple in my opinion. Not for fussy or family with infant/ toddler as you might not have space for luggage and pram.
No reception here, staff will arrive upon call. So be prepared to wait for about 30 mins or so. No pantry or hot water dispenser. Kettle provided. Only clean towel will be provided everyday. Rubbish is cleared everyday as well.

This is very near Ximen Station and you will have no problem getting there. When you are at the entrance to the small lane, it does makes you wonder if you are at the correct place. There are a few eateries flanking the entrance to the homestay, so if you see it, you are at the right place.
Checking in is done by dialing 9 on the phone fixed outside the door. Someone will give you the passcode to enter the gate. You will be asked to wait for someone to check you in and depending on luck, the person might just come promptly from another location. I waited for more than 30 min.
The room is very clean and everything you need is there. Size wise, it is OK for 2 pax. The room is cleaned daily with fresh towels and bottled water are provided. The walls are very thin, so you can hear CLEARLY what the guests are doing next door.
Going everywhere from Ximen Stay is really easy. Just hop onto the MRT at ximen station and you can connect to everywhere without much fuss.

it is very convenient and near the exit4 of ximen. it is a new hotel and the room is very clean. but there is no table if u want to eat in the room. and no refrigerator here too. but i think i will choose it again when i come again

Comfortable and clean rooms, housekeeping and two drinking waters provided everyday. Location wise, it’s within 10 minutes walking distance to Ximending and to MRT, only one station away from Taipei Main Station. Lobby/reception area need to be improved. Cars are not allowed to drive into the narrow street and our taxi driver could not locate the direction properly due to no clear signage. I have seen people waiting downstairs at the lobby area without any assistance.

Hotel entrance on alleyway. No frills. Pros: Clean. Big bed. Plenty hot water for shower. Ac nice and cold. Good location near MRT station and within walking distance to shops and restaurants Cons: Small hotel. One elevator. Good place to stay if all you’re going to do is sleep. Bring a eye mask. Hallway light and ac light shines all night. Bring facecloths. All offered is a bath towel. Shampoo, body soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, hairdryer provided.

Was staying for an extra night in the area and was looking for a hotel with good rates and came across Ximen Stay. Wasn't expecting a lot with the rate I paid, the place was not easy to find but when I called them they helped me find the place right away. It is about 5 minutes walk from MRT Ximen Station exit 4, really close to the night market and the shopping mall. I had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to show up to check me in, which was alright since there was free wifi to use while I waited. The room was clean and had enough space for me and my luggage, the bathroom had its own shower and all the basic amenities. If you need something you can dial 9 with the phone in your room and they will send someone over to help you. I would recommend this place to my friends who are just looking for a place to spend a night but are afraid that they will get a horrible room because they aren't looking to spend too much.
