1. I still remember that on the day of check-in, due to train delays, I didn’t arrive until after 1 a.m.. Fortunately, there were staff at the front desk to check in smoothly. They also patiently explained the equipment in the room and the facilities that would be used, making people feel at home!
2. It is right next to Taipei Main Station. It is very convenient to go there, whether you want to take the MRT, train or even high-speed rail.
3. The teaching hall in B1 is quite large, and it is very comfortable to sit there and eat~~
4. It’s great if they provide large towels, slippers and toiletries (toothbrush and toothpaste)~~At least you don’t need to add weight to your luggage for these things~~
A good hotel worth staying in and revisiting.

Very happy with my stay at Miniinn! The location of the hostel is ideal for getting to and from the airport, as well as getting round Taipei. The room, whilst it was compact, was very clean and we couldn’t have asked for much more. The staff were very friendly, and someone is at the desk 24/7, so if you ever need anything they can help. Free soft drinks in the common area, as well as cheap laundry facilities. Free breakfast was a bonus, and the chef even started early to cook for us on check out day as we were leaving before breakfast officially started. So grateful. Highly recommend this place! Thank you Miniinn and you’re lovely staff.

Excellent front desk service even at 2am . Near train station and small food shops. For a hostel, its breakfast spread was impressive- salad, congee, fruit, pasta, even a protein. Most of all, it was clean everywhere. Hostel bed afforded privacy, nice strong showers.

I was thought that it'll be good as hostel in Japan. But obviously, it hasn't. My first enter to the reception, it's really messy, just like a storage room more than a welcoming place. Please remember to get your towel from the reception after you check in, or else you have to go down and come up again just for a towel. The room is nice and clean with white bedding, but you have to place you big luggage somewhere around the corner, because their luggage storage can only fit max 24inches. Good for backpacker. Most of the people don't follow the rules, to put their shoes in the shoe rack, so, you're sleeping in the container room with the shoe outside. Luckily mine experience wasn't stinky.
Bathroom:
Cleanliness , GOT TO BE IMPROVED! My experiences as a traveler, there should be a cleaner standby when it's peak hour. To solve or to clean immediately if it's dirty. But I don't see any, and the bathroom and basin is not clean enough, with a lot of hair, dirts.and very small. It's very easy to clean it up, maybe just wipeout. In the bathroom, they have provided hanger for you to put your clothes, but please beware not to get it wet during your showering. I would like to rate 6/10 for their bathroom.
Overall, their stuffs are friendly, just the cleanliness and tidy level gotta TO BE IMPROVED.
Not bad, enjoy your stay guys!
:))

miniinn is bang for the buck, a real steal! It is only walking distance from Taipei main station, in front of exit M7. Has a 7/11 beside it. Staffs are very helpful, friendly, & approachable. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Has socket beside bed for charging and also support usb only charging. Breakfast is the best! They have salad, soup, bread, butter & jam, sandwich, hotdog, spag, iced tea, coffee, and water. You will really fill your stomach before you start your day. And the rates are cheaper considering it is in the metro.

I just bumped into this property because my flight was delayed and the last train to Hualein has passed. While walking away from Taipei Main Station, I found this place to spend the night. I'm impressed with it. The staff is so accommodation. Rooms are clean and secured. They have breakfast buffet in the morning. The wifi is fast. I wish I could stay longer but I have an itinerary to do. This will be my place whenever I'm in Taipei.

Good:
- just a few steps from M7 exit of Taipei Main Station (this exit has no elevator, FYI)
- building is next to 7/11
- walking distance to bus station: #1819 going to and from Taoyuan airport
- clean, fairly new facilities, well maintained
- efficient, friendly and helpful staff
- there's a selection of free beverages (juice, iced tea, green tea, coffee) in the lobby!
- fast WiFi connection even at 5th floor
- the crisp white sheets and comfortable bed!
- if you're a light sleeper, it could be good for just one-night stay, but if you're not bothered by noisy roommates packing and unpacking late at night, then this is perfect for extended stay. :)

Bad:
- elevator going up to hostel (2nd floor) looked unsafe (during my stay) but still worked fine. the elevator walls and the floor were wrapped in cardboard and packing tape -- could be under repair or renovation.
- aircon at Rm 505 could've auto-shutdown after midnight as it got warm (it was summer) and cooled again only in the morning.
- I would still recommend this hotel though

Tried the dorm room this time. It's a big bigger than the usual capsule type beds and you get to share the room with ~10+ other people. Bathrooms are still common but there are tons of space so there's really little chance that people will go in all at the same time.

The dorm still have that same cleanliness as with the regular rooms especially since you have a separate area for changing clothes and your footwear must be left in the lockers before you enter the sleeping area.

Mininn is still the best place in the central area of Taipei (around Taipei Main station, exit M7).

PS. If you're just transiting to visit other cities (like me), leave your heavy luggage downstairs with the counter and just bring important stuff and change clothes to the dorm. There's really limited space in the dorm especially if you have 30+kg hard case luggage.

Mini Inn has super location, just some minute walking to Taipei Main station(Exit M3) where you could access bus/train/metro or airport MRT. Quite large bed, clean room & friendly staff. The breakfast is super as well and they change meals every day, especially they offer unlimited drinks including water, green tea & orange juice. Well recommended in Taipei!
