This hotel has its good and bad points. For the good, it has a great location few meters from the train station, bus station, great shops nearby including malls and restaurants. If you are traveling on a budget with your family for me this is reasonable enough. They also have a 24/7 pantry where you can eat all the noodles and snacks that are available plus all the coffee and sodas therein. For the not so good: since it is located in the center, below it is a club and a karaoke bar so expect a lot of noise in the evening until the wee hours. I will not suggest this if you are a light sleeper. Room is sufficient but the carpet feels old and dusty. Our bed was comfortable and the size of the bathroom is okay. We can see the top of Taipei 101 from our side of the room also.

Room feels a little cramp as they use two single beds to be combined as a double bed. Bed is definitely huge. Was able to see Taipei 101 via the bathroom window. Bathtub was available in my room, a little small for tall person but it is wonderful that they have a bathtub and a shower area separately. Zhongxiao Dunhua train station just right outside. Shopping available all around the hotel area. Starbucks just right downstairs and family mart just outside the rear entrance. Groundfloor is packed during clubbing nights. Staff is very welcoming. Explains the check in process in detail. As they are located on level 12 and 14 (frontdesk at level 12), the staff will explain to you on the facilities available and show you to the room personally (was given a room on level 14). Only downside is, if you need anything from them at night, they only have 1 staff on duty. So if you stay on the 14 floor, you are required to head down to level 12. Snacks and drinks complimentary 24/7.

I booked 3 nights at Vendome Hotel Taipei, only stayed one. The “hotel” is actually just a hallway on a floor that it shares with a couple of other businesses. It looked to me as if the space was once a brothel but is now acting as a hotel. The room was small and smelled terrible, musty and like a lot of smoking had taken place in the room previously. Honestly, the Vendome Hotel is complete trash, DO NOT STAY HERE, find somewhere else.

We stayed 2 days in Taipei before going home and probably this was the worst hotel of my life. No windows, smelly bathroom and the worst part you can hear absolutely all the noises around you, people talking, laughing, taking a shower and switching on/off the light...there is a KTV (karaoke) on the next floor so it’s impossible to sleep all night! Never book in this hotel because it’s a nightmare even though the location it’s really good

It’s located in town, just a minute far from metro, lots of food, stores, shops and bars even nightclub around. The room is cozy, but sometimes had some noisy sounds from upstairs but they are sweet enough to offer earplugs. the snack bar is 24/7 and all you can eat, biscuits, noodles and sweets.
