The thermostat in the room did not work and this is the case for all rooms in this hotel. There is AC but the temperature in each room cannot be controlled/adjusted. Would not recommend it.
Do not expect you will have pleasant experience at this hotel. Staff here are not willing to help at all time, you could literally feel how they are not satisfied at their jobs. They are not being polite on conversations. However, except that, the environment is good and it is located in a nice and quiet community.
Great hotel. Clean and modern room, great shower and bathroom (even a bidet!). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast downstairs was great. Perfect location right next to 2 MRT lines for easy access to the entire city. Will definitely come back.
Boutique hotel hidden in a back street that the taxi driver had difficulty to find but once there excellent surprise. Very warm and efficient check in, smiling multilingual staff. Room not so large but clean for the exception of a few hair in the bathroom. Could not find how to stop the air conditioning and TV was difficult to handle with two remote controllers. Cosy lounge area with quality house wine. Good breakfast.
Good location in a DaAn side street. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Hotel has a kind of retro style to it with a nice breakfast room which turns into an afternoon coffee lounge. We stayed in a corner suite with a lounge area separated from the bedroom by sliding partitions. Lounge area has a sofa, large desk, kettle for hot drinks. Bedroom gas huge comfortable bed, wardrobes, safe, minibar fridge, robes, slippers, large flatscreen TV. Bathroom has both tub and shower. Aircon is not easy to control the temperature, you can only choose, high, medium or low power. Breakfast is ok, as a fussy westerner I ate sufficient cereal, fruit, bread, eggs etc.
The hotel is located in a side street and quite a number of crossings from the main road. We had slight difficulties in finding it the first time we went there especially as we were carrying our luggage. But once we found our bearings, it was relatively easy. The nearest MRT station is Zhongxiao Fuxing Station of the Bannan (Blue) Line. It is about 8 minutes' walk from the hotel. Take Exit 3, walk straight, turn right on reaching Bistro 98 with Moomin Café next to it, walk straight passing through some crossings, upon seeing Orange Shabu Restaurant, turn at the corner and the hotel entrance is a few steps away. There are 3 Sogo Department Stores in the neighborhood. Good shopping area with lots of restaurants. The hotel was opened about 20 years ago. Apparently, it had undergone some renovations and upgrading. So, most of the facilities (a few exceptions though) didn't seem dated to me. I had a superior room with a double bed and there was adequate space to move around. Staff were pleasant on the whole and Roselin who seemed to be in charge was particularly helpful. Some negative points. The breakfast room is very small and more like a lounge rather than a proper restaurant. Seating was uncomfortable. The shower head is fixed to the stand without connecting to a movable tube and that made my hair easily got wet. The phone was out of order and it took 2 days to fix it. All in all, I am happy with my stay.…
Room is small. Working chair is too low. Only let u get room after 3pm. Service is average. Upon checkout, a car block the at the tiny little ramp at the entrance. Staff didn’t bother to get rid of the car to make way for my exit. Need to “shift” down ramp on the street to wait for uber with two luggage. Hotel staff was not helping at all. Won’t come to this hotel again!
It must have been over 10 years since my last stay at Les Suites Da-An. The location is superb as it is in the city center which is easy to access public transportation, and everything is in walking distance. The breakfast has been extended to almost a full buffet which is very good for travelers. The rooms are clean and comfortable, a bit dated decor but it doesn’t bother me at all. Service and front office staffs are very friendly and with good English speaking. Will definitely return to this lovely boutique hotel.
The hotel was extremely accommodating and helpful at every instance. I travelled here for work for a few days and my family came along for a few days. They made every effort to inform and assist us. Breakfast was very generous and the free happy hour on weekdays was a pleasant surprise. Whilst there, the typhoon hit and and they served a lovely buffet dinner for all guests as many had flights cancelled or been made to stay in. Location was also a real plus. They offered us a complimentary portable router when one of our party had difficulty with the WiFi connection. Truly an enjoyable stay! Thank you.
Stayed here for two nights, been quite a while since my last day, absolutely love the location, we arrived at 1 am and was still able grab a drink at indulge then noodle at Totto. The hotel decor is a bit dated but it was clean, so that's all it matters to me. The breakfast choices were bit limited, so might not be suitable for those that loves to eat a lot, for me it was okay cos that way I can eat more on the street. I absolutely love their service, very sincere, kind and genuine, both at the front desk and breakfast. Will definitely recommend this hotel because of the service and location.
