Get there before sunset, the drive up can be scary especially if you are not familiar with the area. The room was breath taking, it has a very romantic ambience. The personalised welcome note makes it all the more special. I went in winter but I'm sure summer nights on the pool deck right outside your room must be awesome....

what you see is what you get! how many times have you arrived and then what you saw on the website is not what is infront of you. Trogon House is hidden between the thick bushes, it feels like the Knysna forest and as you drive pass the high enclosure of the monkeys along the pre warned humpity bumpity dirt...

Spa excellent! Privacy was not complete due to layout of room. Maintenance of property in room & general lounge areas needed. Dining room service not on standard. Kitchen staff loud. Food average. House wine not good.

We had great service from the moment we were greeted by the friendly staff. The view from the balcony was amazing, location is isolated making it tranquil and relaxing. Food was great too. We had a great stay and will recommend Trogon House!

We stayed one night at Trogon House while touring the garden district. It was the most decadent stay of our trip, and we wish we had stayed longer. Check out the photos for a good idea of what you can expect. We were welcomed by a friendly and attentive staff member, who also happened to be the chef who was...
