This was our fourth stop on our garden road trip.its a little off the main road but that made it more exclusive. The reception area is small but staff were great. A lovely terrace outside with facilities to light a fire if it was at all cool. Breakfast was served here daily and there were settees as well as tables...

There's a lot of talk about Hog Hollow, in the brochures, the guide books and on here, and whilst we really enjoyed it, I'm not sure it warrants the over-glowing reviews. Best summed up as "shabby chic", with its eclectic mix of furniture, decor and knick-knacks. The chalets are good and ours had an enormous patio overlooking the forests. Monkeys...

Spent 2 nights at Hog Hollow and the standout factor is the staff. They cannot do enough for you and are so attentive to your needs to make sure you get the best of your stay here. The food was wonderful and incredible views make this a wonderful place to spend a few nights along the garden route. It's close...

Very welcoming on arrival, with drinks and flannels. Quaint cabins a bit like something from the wild west. Our verandah was a bit overgrown and the view would have been enhanced if some of the undergrowth had been cut back a bit. The public areas are lovely. Most people eat in at night as it is a long drive back...

We loved this hotel three years ago and it's still excellent. From the service to the food, it's perfect. There's plenty to do locally and the staff provide all the assistance with recommendations and booking you'd expect.

All the staff at Hog Hollow were very polite and pleasant and a nice gesture is the way they wash your car daily. Hog Hollow is very remote and only really accessible by car, otherwise you are stuck in a very remote area. Having said that if you like complete peace and quiet and love walking then you would possible...

Lovely room on 2 floors with stunning views over the tree canopy. Food was very good and it was a good idea to have large tables where you were able to meet and discuss with other travellers during your dinner. Plenty to do in the surrounding area therefore our 3 nights their was perfect.

This place is amazing in a beautiful setting. The rooms have lots of positives - big, well equipped, large balcony, very clean. The staff here were outstanding and the food both in the evening and for breakfast was all cooked to order and was the best of the all the hotels I stayed in during my trip. There is a...

Brilliant place, very comfortable almost luxurious suites, great, faultless service, nice people. Decent food, excellent wine at reasonable prices. located next to three very easily accessible wildlife attractions. We visited all 3 being the elephant sanctuary, birds of eden and monkey land. All were good in their different ways. We walked there on a bush track and got the hotel...

The hotel is in a great setting, with wonderful views and the rooms are great, although the lack of air conditioning and wi-fi in the rooms was disappointing. Our main concern was the lack of a proper a la carte menu and the quality of the meals was not up to the standard that we had experienced elsewhere in South...
