    Use to go to this motel many times over the years, and was greatly enjoyed, one of the best motels sites in Northland. My wife pulled in a week ago to check it out and found out like many past motels around this area, it has been sold and turn into private residence and longer available to the public. Indeed...

    If you want a family weekend away this is an awesome place to go. We had 6 adults and 6 children and occupied 3 units. Lucy, the proprietor, was so friendly and made the whole family feel at home. The children took bikes and scooters as there was plenty of room to ride these and they spent heaps of time...

    Great location, very friendly and helpful managers (Lucy) who made us feel very welcome. Units are old, maybe 1960's or 1970's era, but very clean and spacious. We were a family of 5, with double bed in lounge, and 3 singles (rollaway bed) in separate bedroom. Plenty of grass space between motel and beach for playing ball games, etc. small'ish...

    Taipa Sands had excellent service in an excellent location, I look forward to staying there again soon.
