Room smelt like an old person's home. Floor was dirty. Toilet door did not close. Toilet did not flush very well. Fleas jumping and biting. We did not stay - booked out after 10 minutes. An absolute disgrace.

Our room overlooked the magnificent Coopers beach with it's views over the bay . A quiet place , well run and well maintained externally with very helpful people running it . A great place to stop over for 1 or a couple of nights . Just over 2km from Mangonui and a few mins drive to local shops . The...

We are an elderly couple who have just had a fantastic weeks holiday at this hotel right on the beach at Coopers Beach. The owners were extremely helpful in allowing us to move furniture around to make it easy for us all to eat and sit together. They pointed us in the direction of things to do. Kayaking & paddle...

Right by the beach, and close to shops. Gorgeous spot. The unit was very clean and well equipped. Despite being full, the room was quiet. TV sky just arrived. Not far to the Mangonui Fish and Chips eatery!

Called in on seeing sign at roadside as was late and were getting tired, hadn't planned on staying. Stayed in beach facing room at the front. Long shared deck area. You have to walk down stairs to access front rooms. There are rooms available right next to where you park your cars though, under a carport area. (stair free) Was told...

Spent 2 nights. You cannot get closer to the beach. Accommodation very basic, neat and clean. Service friendly and good. 5 Star position. Close to good restaurants. Well worth visiting. They also arranged a fishing tour for use was fantastic. We returned with fish and management offered to cook our fish for us. The Team went the extra mile!

Stayed at the San Marino for 10 days in early February, it was exactly what the doctor ordered. A truly relaxing place to stay, Phil, Tobie and the rest of their staff made sure that I was always comfortable. Fantastic location on the beach, beautiful days and outstanding sunsets. Whether you are looking to relax, swim or do some great...

Stayed 2 nights and value for money was 2nd to none. To get beach front, amazing views, clean, fresh roomy units, and friendly service for $130/night was great. Cooper's beach is truly beautiful and you couldn't be closer. It was dated décor and a little run down in that respect but had everything you needed and all staff were very...

We spent two nights over the New Years eve break in a family room at San Marino Motor Lodge. We found that the price of property was high to very high in comparison with the condition of the building, but the absolute beachfront location and the time of year partially justify the amount. On the plus side, the beach is...

Prices in Peak Season reflect the demand for the property. As we are extreme beachfront and our location is superb it is our location that guests are paying for in the peak season of summer. We are still considerably cheaper than everywhere else on the beach. The Room Information does not state that the building will be demolished, only that...
