The hotel is located directly across the street from the bay with a beautiful view of the water; a very quiet street that is a short walk into town. The accommodations are spacious ..two bedrooms and one bath with a small kitchen.....but are very basic. Well maintained and clean. I would stay here again and would recommend others to stay...

The location was great - maybe a 10 min walk up the hill and along the promenade to Mangonui town. Plenty of parking at the front. i stayed in a room on the 1st floor, opposite the reception area. The room was OK, with a small deck outside. Decor a bit outdated, but the room was at least clean. However,...

This motel is in a picturesque, peaceful bay of the Mangonui Harbour. It is walking distance to the village shops, pub and cafes. Awake to the sound of waves lapping gently and cicadas in summer. The motel has a pool, spacious units which are comfortable and well equipped. We had to book for extended family at short notice and received...

This hotel was okay - for it's price I would have expected better though, and I guess you pay for the view and location. The location is wonderful, in a peaceful ocean inlet with a very short drive to food and shops. The website and booking site seem to be misleading as the rooms in person are dark and old-fashioned,...

We weren't so happy with the first unit given as we'd requested an upstairs room and got a downstairs. New owners were very happy to move us, nothing was any trouble including keeping the pool open for our kids to have a final evening dip. Really enjoyed our stay here. Peaceful and stunning location.

Nice quiet spot on the bay just around the coast and easy walking distance from Mangonui town restaurants and shop. Two level "settler" style building, parking around the back (spaces a bit tight) laundry and area for preparing your catch! Rooms good and clean, if a bit dated, service from the owners was excellent, really helpful. Would return. Don't know...

We had a special deal for a getaway weekend at this resort. We (felt) that because it was on of their "deals", that although we were the only guests there, we were given (possibly), NOT a premier room. The first floor rooms would have had a fabulous view, where as our ground floor room did not. The location is fabulous,...
