It was the perfect choice for us as we were looking for a quiet vacation away from major tourist attractions and markets.

We were thankful that all the staff made us feel welcome. The reception, restaurant, cleaning team, and buggy service all worked hard to ensure we had a comfortable stay.

The main pool is beautiful, and the chairs by the reception area are comfortable, offering a fantastic view of the beach and city. The room was well-designed, and the relaxation area by our private pool was very spacious, allowing us to unwind comfortably. The landscaping was also beautiful.

There were many reviews stating that the breakfast was not great, but we actually liked it because it offered just the essentials, nothing more. From 4 PM, there was an hour-long afternoon tea service, where we enjoyed drinks and finger foods, which were delicious.

We stayed in a treehouse-type room. The bed was comfortable, and the linens were clean. The pool area felt even larger and nicer than it appeared in the photos. The room was clean and well-organized every time we went out.

There were also reviews mentioning that the buggy service took a long time, but since we were enjoying a very leisurely vacation, we didn’t feel like it was unreasonably slow. Everyone was friendly, and the drivers were skilled.

The gym isn't large, but it has the essentials for a good workout, and there’s a separate yoga room, which was a nice addition. The natural light in the gym made working out during the day feel refreshing.

We didn’t hear any noise from other guests and had a peaceful stay. I'm not sure if our room had a particularly good location or if the villas are spaced far apart, but we were very satisfied.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to those who prioritize easy access to downtown or the beach, as it requires a taxi ride of over 20 minutes to get anywhere.

I’ve visited Phuket several times, and this was one of the most satisfying accommodations I’ve experienced. Given its location, I think the price is very reasonable for the quality.

If your main goal is to relax comfortably in your room and you don’t mind taking taxis as part of your travel experience, I highly recommend this place.

Stayed 8-14 Nov.

Excellent quality of facilities.
Rooms were spacious and well positioned throughout property to offer good views of Cha Long or nature.
Beautiful sunrises across the horizon across Cha Long bay in the morning.

Hotel restaurant had good views of the bay in the morning and evening.

Breakfast had limited range but of good quality.
Hotel changes the breakfast range especially the noodles style everyday with local preparations.

Dinners was excellent at the hotel.
Special mention for Chef Moo who prepared a curated menu for 2 special dinners.
The dinner had the quality equivalent to fine dining restaurants.

We also had a massage at the Spa as a couple.
Lovely rooms with privacy.
Good reception and range of massage.
Professional masseurs.
Relaxing and totally enjoyable.

Staff were excellent.
Attentive and always accommodating to the guests requests.
Special mention for front office manager, YuKee who helped with all the bookings, luggage and transport arrangements
Restaurant staff was very good at breakfast and dinner service.
Special mention to restaurant host Tops who engaged conversation with the customers, suggested food and beverages to complement the food.

This is a so called 5 star hotel with a 3 star standard service.
The facilities are new and good. The problem is with the customer facing staff.
They are very rude and unfriendly. Basic things like water is not available anywhere other than room. We asked for water in the lobby, the person at reception told to go the room or buy from bar. There is room cleaning at fixed time once a day..If you want to it again, the staff tells you is not possible. The breakfast is very sad. Ice is chargeable. Location is very bad
Evem a 7/11 is far down the hill by car.
Basically can be compared to food with too much salt. Cannot eat even when you are hungry. Managment needs a overhaul with people who know hospitality.
Best is to avoid it.

Overall we can't complain if the price was different, however we payed 250€ for a room with a pool (considering that the room was old and used, without view and not what we booked, the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, the breakfast is very poor for 5* hotel, and they are not very flexible to fulfill wishes)
Even though the hotel is newly opened, it has old and new part - we booked a beautiful pool room with a view, however we got old villa where the taps in the sink and shower were very rusty and colour was coming constantly off. There was also very strange smell in the room and outside as we came. The old rooms would need some reconstruction. The hotel was quite empty and we don't understand why they didn't give us a villa in the newer part that looked like what we booked to make a good impression. The toilet was a disaster, sometimes it didn't flush at all and I had to press the button like 50x (no response) and wait 10 minutes till the toiled would make water sound and simply flush. My boyfriend wanted to book a romantic dinner with nicely decorated table and light and they told they don't do romantic dinners - end of story, no trying to make it possible (I think 5* hotel should try harder and provide something like this) The breakfast was very poor for a 5* hotel, not a big choice, nothing special in the offer, they also didn't have standard things like egg Benedict. There was free minibar that was supposed to be refilled every day, however the cleaning lady told she will bring the drinks later and she never did... So I would say if we would have payed 150€, we would be extremely satisfied, however for 250€ you can already get a good 5* hotel with a beach access/view and with delicious and rich breakfast.
What we liked was the idea of tea time - for free (even though the first thing we were served was the menu to buy something, which was strange. Otherwise the employees where very friendly and room was clean. But we would not book again.

Dear Franz M, Greeting from Noku Phuket! As the resort is in a natural setting, we have kept many of the trees. There are mixed views from our Hill villas and not all has an unblocked view. The location, is nestled up in the hill, thus the slopes and steep gradients. It's also away from the hustle and bustle, which offers a tranquil haven of peace and serenity. All of our Villas are new except for our Grand villas and we don't have any old rooms as you have highlighted. For our breakfast menu, we focus on quality and not quantity plus the menu is ample with selection from local & international cuisines. We do romantic dinners with a set up at The Terrace with a view of the Chalong Bay and I'm surprised to hear that you were told its not available. As some of the details highlighted didn't seem to reflect our resort, I would appreciate if you could email me the details of your stay and I will conduct the necessary investigation with regards to your issues. The Noku was a great hotel that was a perfect break from the chaos of Phuket. Don’t stay there if you want to be in the heart of the action. It’s peaceful with great facilities. Pools were excellent as was the food and spa. Only issue was minor - air con was not in main parts of the hotel ie during breakfast so it was very hot. And rooms required the key card for air con which are attached to keys so when you come back from a hot day out it takes a while to cool down the room. Also the air con sits right above the bed (we were in room H2) so you can’t sleep with it on else you get chilled. Meant we kept having to get up during the night to switch it on and then off when freezing. Other than that, loved the place!

Hotel Review

We stayed at this hotel for three weeks, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The staff in all areas—from the lobby, restaurant, and bar to the housekeeping team and gardeners—were incredibly friendly and attentive. They always had a smile on their faces and made us feel truly welcome.

One thing that stood out was how friendly and warm Thai people are towards children and babies. Our little one was always greeted with smiles and kindness, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

A special mention goes to Top, a staff member who takes his responsibilities very seriously. He always handled situations professionally, politely reminding guests of the house rules when necessary, and he never let himself be discouraged.

Speaking of staff, we also want to highlight the great work of the waiters. Despite the fact that we as guests can sometimes be quite demanding, they always did their best to provide excellent service. Sometimes I was able to enjoy my coffee, because the waitress took care of my Little Girl.

If I had to point out a few small issues, it would be that some of the room floors could use proper renovation and that the rooms are quite noisy. You can hear sounds from the hallway and neighboring rooms, which can be a bit disruptive at times.

One thing I noticed, though, is how quickly some guests run to management to complain, sometimes over the smallest things—like being reminded of the house rules. People, if you have an issue, talk to the person involved first—like adults.

All in all, we had a wonderful time and would happily return!

Lovely grounds and complex, Terrace apartments are spacious with deck and outdoor seating around pool. Staff are very friendly especially restaurant staff.
Many tech issues with TV and wifi in room T2 for whole 5 day stay. Asked to change rooms but nothing happened.
Location wise if you are staying in resort this is fine but it is a distance to other amenities eg. supermarket, beach etc. being up on hillside not suitable to walk to shops. You will need a car or taxi to get anywhere or use free shuttle that needs to be booked 24hrs before use to limited locations.
TV did not work properly the whole time we where at resort. Advised all channels and TV’s in resort have technical issues. All channels broke up and showed as per pic most of the time. WIFI in room was hit and miss even through technician replaced modem when we complained. Normally not a big issue but when it rains for 5 days it would be nice to watch a movie. Only channel that seamed to work was YouTube 🤷🏼 when the wifi worked.

The + : the hotel is stunning, the view is incredible, good pool, good room, breakfast is great

The - : We book this room for the hot tub. We were actually staying in another hotel in Phuket and decided to switch to this one for the hot tub. We arrive the hot tub didn’t work, it couldn’t fill correctly, so we use as a bath
The next day in the morning: no water. We phone and they say “Ah yes it’s normal it’s off for an hour” … Well, why not telling us? Then, the water was black. It was disgusting, we told the reception at 10am they say “we will look after it”. Came back at 6pm, just wanted to take a shower and it was not fix, phone the reception again, they say “prepare your belongings we will come to take you to another room”. We prepare our stuff and waited for almost 2 hours in front of the door. Phone 3 times until they say “Yes they are coming now”. They took us to another room, much smaller, smell disgusting, not a good view compare to the other one. I went to the shower and realise they were no TOWELS.
What a terrible experience.
I don’t mention the chaos of the service at breakfast. Ask for poached egg and waited 20 mn until I left and they finally serve us the egg (not even food)
And the hotel is very far so you ask for a car to come to pick you and we waited 20 mn so we just decided to walk when it was 35 degrees

We check out, no sorry, no gesture or anything. We even paid for the bottle of plastic water that we ask 😂😂😂
We are doing a tour of Asia for 3 months, 15 hotels, and this is the worst experience of all.

Dear 1011, Thank you for your TripAdvisor review and we appreciate your constructive feedback. I sincerely apologize for the water disruption you experienced during your stay. There was a crack in the water pipeline and we had to shut down the water immediately to rectify the issue and did not manage to send the shutdown message on time. The yellowish water was due to the residue from the ground water that discharged when we turned on the water valve. Once again, my apologies for the water disruption and the inconvenience caused. We look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back to Noku Phuket and ensure you have a positive memorable experience with us. Best Regards, Manoharan Mannarlingam Area General Manager
