Beautiful property with delightful interior - friendly hosts and superb breakfast. Highly recommended for any extended Antrim Coast visits in terms of accessibility and stunning Lough Swilly locations close by.

This is a fantastic old Victorian Rectory which is very clean, comfortable and full of beautiful antiques and is quirky. It is very handy to Ramelton village and the owners are very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious.

My wife & I decided to do "Wild Atlantic Way" and having chosen Frewin as our base, made for our most memorable trip to Emerald Isle to date (we have lost count of the number of trips we've made). The Service: Our host Regina provided the most fantastic delicious breakfasts during which was on hand without being intrusive with helpful...

My wife took me to stay in Donegall for my birthday treat and we stayed with Regina and Thomas at Freewin. We traveled to places that we had missed on other visits and looked forward to our return to Freewin and the wonderful hospitality and conversation with our hosts each evening. We stayed at Frewin House on our way from the Antrim Coast and Ballintoy to southern Donegal. Ramelton is a small and pretty "heritage" town and Frewin House was a charming and comfortable retreat for one night. Regina is a most gracious and welcoming hostess; she had cookies and tea ready for us in arrival; served a drink before dinner...

This is the perfect base for touring northeastern Donegal - and near enough to Letterkenny town if all that nature starts too overwhelm! Regina and Thomas are the perfect hosts - helpful and interested without being intrusive - and their beautiful home is hard to leave…..

Myself and my husband stayed here for one night, the main house was booked out so we stayed in the cottage. It was charming, spotless clean & private and would be ideal for a couple with small kids in cots. It really was a private cottage in the middle of the woods and the service from Regina and her family...

Old, world charm combined with such warm hospitality, set in the most peaceful of settings - perfect for those who appreciate 'standards'! No 5* hotel could compete with the atmosphere offered up by Frewin and the Coyles who own such a devine property.

“We chose a garden facing double which also had a single bed with a little sitting room area Too. The double room ensuite adjoining a gorgeous single room with a great library is perfect for families. There was another double room that faced the rear of the house and though it didn't have as much light, it did have a great free standing bathtub. There is one more single loft-style single room & its great. The blue colour and century specific fixtures and fittings make crossing the threshold feel like a time machine. The house isn't extremely luxurious, but it is very comfortable and beautiful. It feels so authentic. We will certainly come back again but for a romantic break this time. We felt bad having kept Thomas, the owner, up all night to keep an eye on the house while we were all up chatting and having fun into the night. The house isn't suitable, in my opinion, for a group to take on entirely (even quite a mature group of 30 somethings) to take the house to celebrate an event on location, because one of the home owners must stay awake with you to keep an eye on the house. The owners live at the other side of the residence & are conveniently on hand to help with anything their guests need, and we understood their concern for their beautiful home, but it made us feel a little rude for keeping one of them awake in order to watch over the property. Other than that - as a B&B this house is a gorgeous one and Ramelton is like a fairtytale village, so far from the over coiffed tourist villages we are all use to, the locals and Regina herself are very friendly and add to the enjoyment we experienced here.”
