My wife and I just got back from our stay in Donegal. We had our 12-year-old son with us as well. From the moment we pulled up to these cottages, we could not have been more thrilled with our accommodations. The first thing that strikes you of course, are the stunning views in all directions. We stayed in cottage number...

About to visit Ireland? Don't make the mistake of renting a car on arrival at Dublin Airport. Most airlines limit their flights from the U.S. to all nighters arriving around 7 am. That sudden influx of passengers produces long lines at auto rental counters, followed by more waiting for an infrequent shuttle bus to the off airport locations of rental...

When I was a child, my parents, excited by the prospect of a television-free vacation, bundled all of us into the car and drove many times to this remote part of Donegal. Twenty years later we have returned with the new generation - it was incredible then and it is incredible now. It is a place to relax, unwind and...

We were a group of three families with kids ranging in ages 4-18. The cottages were just perfect and the highlight of our trip to Ireland. Very cozy, very comfortable, well equipped and as charming as could be. The setting is breathtaking and the photos on line (as beautiful as they are) do not even do it justice. The owner,...

My 6 children and I spent 2 days in a lovely cottage overlooking the ocean, rocks, and beach! It was a relaxing place to stay, with plenty of outdoor activities nearby to enjoy. Connor was a wonderful host and we highly recommend Donegal to couples and families!

A lovely part of the world, the scenery all around is breath taking. Completely out on your own you are twenty minutes from anyone and another ten from any facilities so lovely and quiet, perfect getaway. The cottages themselves are basic but comfy. Double bed comfy enough but the 5 singles are a bit sparse on comfort. Kitchen has the...

Arriving at our cottage, we were blown away by how beautiful the situation was, fantastic views overlooking the coast. Sadly that was the only thing about the cottage which lived up to expectations. The cottages are advertised as "turning the clock back", peat fires etc however we didn't think this translated to dirt and danger. Our beds had wooden lattes...

The cottages were comfortable, clean and well presented with everything we needed. We booked 3 cottages for a group of friends and the cottages were ideal with large sitting room and open turf fires. Thank you Conor, we'll be back.

I went there with my friends for 2days last month. Before I got there, I was tired because of long journey at that time. When I got off the car, I could recover myself. It had really nice view. Especially, I loved night view through the window in cottage. The mood was really silent so that I could here the...
