We were told when we booked the room over the phone that there was a wedding on the night we booked. I was a bit aprehensive but contined with the booking all the same. Our room was a spacious family room on the third floor. No complaints with room it was clean with all mod cons. The wedding did not...

Stayed in Ballyliffin lodge for our 10 year wedding anniversary and we loved every minute of it. Friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, good food and a gorgeous room. Would highly recommend anyone to visit.

We stayed here for 3 nights, 4 days, in July 2015. The hotel is very modern and we had upgraded to a deluxe room, which was very spacious and nicely laid out. We were warned, when we booked months earlier, that there were a few weddings in the hotel and we could expect a 'certain level of noise'. We accepted...

Dear Guests, Many thanks for choosing the Ballyliffin lodge for your recent break away and thank you for your lovely comments. We are blessed to be located in the wonderful Inishowen peninsula with its spectacular views and beach walks. Customer care is at the heart of Ballyliffin Lodge and the old traditional ‘cead mile failte’ is exactly what we are...

I spend alot of time in Donegal each summer but this was my first time trying the restaurant in this place; as i had heard good things i was looking forward to it. My family ate homecooked meals for the first 5 days of our 7 stay day (in clonmany) in order to save our money so we could really...

Dear Guest, I am shocked to read your review of your recent visit to Jacks Bar & Restaurant and I am disappointed that you left without speaking to a manager on duty or reporting your experience to a staff member. Jacks Bar & restaurant is renowned for its high quality food and the fact that this was not your experience...

Spent 2 nights here recently. The hotel is in a really picturesque part of the country. It's clearly a popular destination for visitors from the nearby counties, and in particular from Northern Ireland I think. The room we had was spacious but somewhat dark, caused I think by its position in the building, and the small window. When booking this...

Dear Guest, Many thanks for taking the time to post your comprehensive review. As a 4 star accredited hotel it is not a requirement to have a separate restaurant but thank you for your feedback. Customer care is so important to us here and I am delighted that you found our staff friendly and helpful. Looking forward to welcoming you...

Positives first: rooms clean and spacious. Otherwise everything was poor. The food in Jack's bar was terrible. My son's sausages were obviously reheated and rock hard! Cod was so greasy I couldn't eat. In the foyer and front room, there were no staff! So, tables uncleared, tables & chairs a disorganised mess, grubby fingerprints on windows, food debris on seating...
