We arrived here earlier than check in and Myra greeted us with a smile and allowed us to leave our bags in our room before we headed off to do the Dingle Peninsula. We chose this b&b for its position for doing both the Dingle and the Ring of Kerry. Castlemaine is a small village so doesn't have a lot...

WOW! So accommodating. We had first been placed on the second (maybe it's called the 1st) floor but with my bad knees and really heavy and large suitcase, were put into a lovely suite on the first floor. We had two bedrooms, one with a full bed where my cousins slept, and the smaller one with a twin where I...

I booked this room as a convenient spot for touring the Dingle Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry. The location was perfect and the hosts couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. Upon our arrival, Myra provided us with a bit of refreshment to accompany our in-room tea and coffee. We had been driving quite a while and we decided...

I have just been to this "B & B" for two nights. It is more like a luxury hotel! Its Just the best place to stay, a wonderful warm welcome by Brian, gorgeous rooms, quiet and perfect in every way. Breakfast was delicious, the spot where Castlemaine House located is perfect too. Recommend everything about it.

We were tired and hungry when we arrived unannounced to a warm welcome by host, Myra Colgan, who had a room for us. It was perfect! Charming, comfortable, and roomy. We were just across the street from the pub that Myra recommended where we had a good dinner and pint. Breakfast was plentiful and we could choose what we wanted...

Myra, the Innkeeper was very accommodating. She was very anxious to make us comfortable in any way we needed. One day we had rinsed out some of our clothes and left them on clothes lines in our room and when we returned after a day of excursions she had dried and folded them for us!!! Very sweet. Beakfasts were made...

We used Castlemaine House as our base, being a Castlemaine myself😜, we wanted to spend as much time as possible there! Myra and her family made us feel very welcome into their immaculate little slice of comfortable heaven. The breakfast was superb and we had a great selection! We had such a lovely stay, my 13 year old did not...

We stopped at castlemaine house after a long drive. We hadn't booked but luckily there were rooms available. The room was lovely and clean and comfortable. Myra was so welcoming. Our breakfast the next morning was great - so much to choose from. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here after a long day of driving the Dingle Peninsula. We called our hostess, Myra Colgan, when it appeared that we would be very late in arriving. She very graciously told us not to worry and we did arrive after 9pm. We were shown to a lovely triple room on the 2nd floor which overlooked the main street....
