My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights in March. Although unused to Western Tourists we were made extremely welcome in this area by everyone.. The accomodation was extremely clean and the staff very helpful. The breakfast and dinner served at this resort was 5 star best food ever Beautiful unspoilt country side and miles of beaches with no shacks or bars Must see Ganipatipule Temple and watch the sunset from the beach. We reached Ganpatipule in afternoon where all hotels were already booked and reached to chaitanya Resort with verbal commitment, but caretaker has taken care of us very well. We have got 1bhk bungalow called Niranjan, which has double bed, AC, 32 inch LCD with set top box, AC, refrigerator and geyser in room, whereas in living room with kitchen we had sofa and chair. There was enough space to park my duster in front of bungalow. However we were not allowed to cook as they have kitchen and cook home made food. We were 3 adults and 1 kid and we got extra mattress, we had very pleasant stay after 7 hours of drive, and everyone were happy to see neat and clean bungalow with all required stuff in room. Toilet was superbly clean. However we didn't had food here but had breakfast which homemade and tasty too. Supporting staff was equally supportive to make all arrangements. Overall our stay was relaxing and enjoyed the one night stay in Chaitanya Resort. Thanks team for taking care of me and my family. Would recommend this those who wish to visit Ganpatipule, though beach is 2 km but one can go via car in 5 mins.

Awesome property, Good Stay for Family. They offer AC rooms with full HD LED & d2h with HD, Mini Fridge in just Rs.1250. Best home stay ever for me. Staff & care taker maybe owner is very supporting. We wanted some baby food to cook for our baby, they said that just go to our kitchen & make as you want. Great place for family trip. Food quality is best specially solkadhi, aamras, salad. Rooms are very neat and clean. Had two Bisleri Bottles, Toiletries. If you go with two families you can get villa. You can stay together.

We happened to book this resort through other website. The cottages are difficult to reach since the area is on uphill. No internal tar roads so its difficult to take your vehicle near to your cottage. Very poor service, no breakfast, tasteless food.

Typical row houses.. gives you a feeling of weekend homes. The old bungalows were all filled up due to the 4 day long holiday, but the resort gave us a stay where their new bungalows were being constructed. Slightly far way from the restaurant & main property, but no hassles as such. All our requirements were met by one of the Hotel staff who was assigned to us..Staff were helpful, Food option was limited i.e. Thali at dinner, fixed breakfast menu.. but definitely TASTY!! Every night they offered us Modak as sweet dish, it was yummmmy..
The rooms were clean, ambience serene and great view overlooking the beach which was a bit far away. Only point to be noted was since the construction was happening around our new property for other bungalows, it was a bit lonely at night outside.
Overall a great place to Stay and definitely recommended!!

We were here in the month of Sept 2014. We searched for some hotels then we found this one. They offered us independent bungalow at 1800 Rs a night. And 5 people can easily stay here. As we were 4 it costed us 450 per night. The bungalow is specious and nicely maintained. A very silent place where you can have comfortable stay. There is nothing wrong with this place. I personally liked everything.

Set in the greens of western ghats, Malgund-Ganpatipule trip was an heavenly experience.. Amazing location for beach lovers, spiritual folks and adventure lovers... The greenery and pollution free town gives the sense of calmness (much needed) to the mind and heart. You are closest to the nature when you are here..
Chaitanya resort is a great resort to stay. The staff are extremely humble, hospitality was at its best... They made us feel like home.. Savored delicious Konkani cuisine made with lot of love and pride...
Had a great time and wish to visit again and again whenever time permits.. Will definitely stay at Chaitanya Resort every time I visit Malgun/Ganpatipule...

Me & my husband visited this place last week itself. Very neat & clean rooms. 16 bungalows situated in Malgund far away from people crowd, good to spend quality time with family.. They were having veg food but very tasty however they do provide non veg cuisine for bigger groups, clean and tidy kitchen. I've rated 4 stars as washrooms can be more cleaner still it was not bad though. Budgeted rooms with AC,TV.. overall like the stay nearby beautiful scenic beauty of beach

Pros: 1. Good Place and Rooms are clean 2. 24 hrs warm water facility 3.Near to Malgund beach and Ganpatipule temple. 4.In your Budget.
Cons: 1. Bunglows that is upside of the restaurant is having bad slope conditions and not suitable for the aged peoples, you can not even walk steadily and not suitable for the small cars. 2. If you request them something for the aged people who can not climb, they will not be ready. and not much helpful. 3. Food is ok, but need some improvement in the variety and taste.
Suggestions: You need to correct the steep slope, so that people can enjoy more.

If u book chaitanya resort...please ask for one of the bungalows constructed on the upper area of the resort which has a backend kind of entry....believe me ...this place is the best place to experience peace....u will b delighted...n the malgund beach is a very clean calm n crowd-less beach...close to this place...also this place is a very reasonable one

Hello,
It's a 1 bedroom villa along with suite / parlour on ground floor. Bedroom is on the first floor and has sea view. Other amenities - LED TV, AC and small refrigerator. Hot and cold water in bathrooms.
I am not owner of property but stayed there 3 months back. They have bungalow of all sizes. They have only AC rooms. Only veg food and it is real good. Breakfast and lunch is separate but cost is nominal. I would say cheaper than outside restaurant. Temple is far away from hotel but you have rickshaws available. Property is maintained by Mr Deshpande now. He is damn strict. But very helpful person. I enjoyed my stay there.
