From the outset I should have realised this was going to be hassle - Pat was gruff and rude to say the least from the very first phonecall. He promised me on a Monday in January that a house would be available for a group of us to stay in for a weekend in June and that if I emailed... More

The same day in the evenng hours I got an email, no phone call nothing to inform me that the holiday house I just booked is ot available anymore and all they can do is to refound the money which would take up... A large group of us stayed in several houses here earlier this summer. I think the Irish phrase "grand" is about the best you could say about Loughstown Holiday Village. Excellent gated holiday village where nothing is too much trouble. Pat & Veronica are most accommodating, keeping the properties well maintained and in excellent condition. Our property had every mod con needed, and the beds were comfortable. The area has a number of interesting historical properties within easy reach, with Dublin being only 60-90 mins away as well.

Pat & Veronica were very friendly on arrival and really helpful! He brought us a BBQ when we asked him for one and there are tennis courts there too. The house was in great condition throughout and warm and cosy in the evenings. The area itself is lovely - full of nature and historical sites. I would go fishing again... More

We just spend a week at Loughstown and really enjoyed the holiday. This is a gated holiday home estate in the village of Drumcree, just a few miles from Collinstown. Think there is about 20 detached houses in total. We stayed in a 3 bed house which was lovely with all mod cons provided. There is a tennis court, small... More
