Booked on-line to attend local wedding. Did not know area. Friendly welcome. Downstairs bedroom with large wet room ensuite. Exactly what we required. Spotlessly clean. Well furnished. Landlady went out of her way to meet breakfast requirements. So helpful. Couldn't do enough for us .thank...More

We stayed 2 nights at Arthurs Rest and would have been happy to stay longer if time permitted. The owners were very friendly and could not have been more helpful. Our room was modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great breakfasts

Felt unwelcome, building and room were immaculate but unheated and breakfast was an effort.Cold, unwelcoming and unfriendly. Stopped late was unprepared but a BandB that didn't really want guests wasn't a great choice.
