Dunbrody House fell far short of our expectations. The accommodation, in particular, has been badly neglected. We had been looking forward to spending time relaxing in a comfortable room and it was difficult to spend five minutes in the room, let alone endure the entire night.

We visited here last summer. I love Kevin Dundon as a TV Chef and I was so delighted to visit here. We stayed in the Cozy Cabin & after reading in the Independent today that it’s the no. 1 place to stay in Ireland I had to leave a review. I will let the photos attached speak

I am staying with a young child (6) soon, any thoughts? Should I bring entertainment for them?
Yes I would bring some things to entertain, books, board games, maybe clothing/suitable shoes for playing outside as there is lots of lovely walks and open spaces outside. Also lots of castles and historic places to visit.

It is an estate house and so has a lot of quaint features. I think it would be best to bring your own adapter to be on the safe side.

Hi Tess, I'm sorry but I cant answer that question for you as I didn't have the lunch there. We stayed the night and had the set dinner menu and breakfast. I'd say if you call them or check their website you might get what you are after. Morgan

"The hotel is very quiet so no need to worry about noise."
"The house tends to get quiet reasonably early - I'd guess the only noisy spot would be over the bar, so avoid that."
"We got free upgrade and room was old style but quality"
