Nestled in the Wicklow Mountains, the Lough Dan House is the perfect home base for hiking, relaxing or exploring the historical treasures of this area. Upon our arrival, we were pleasantly greeted by Sean and Teresa. We found the surroundings to be peaceful and beautiful, complete with a double rainbow complements of Mother Nature. The interior of the entire home...

We (surprisingly!) found this B&B all on our own. I was a little worried about finding it because it is out in the hills- not near the village at all. But there are sign posts every now and then so you can find it from Roundwood center. We were warmly welcomed, and felt quite at home there (even though we...

Sean was friendly and interesting, and most willing to collect and drop off from the pub! Wonderful spot, as were all the accommodations we stayed in over our 6 day Wicklow Way hike. Comfortable room with added bonus of a lovely hot bath. Nice and warm, with an area to sit downstairs as well if you don't want to hide...

We stayed at Lough Dan House for one night whilst walking "The Wicklow Way". It was a bit of a walk and up a hill from the end of the track but there is an option to get picked up which we chose to decline as we were enjoying the walk so much. Theresa and Sean were great hosts. We...

We found their self-guided walking program to be a terrific way to experience the Wicklow Mountains. As they transport you to and from Dublin at the beginning and end of the program and take you to and from the walks, you save the expense and hassle of a rental car. We really liked the four walks they recommended for us....

It's rather difficult to top the excellent reviews already here. My experience of Lough Dan House was above and beyond my expectations. The fee included all meals, transportation to and from Dublin Airport, a guide for all hikes, and site seeing. As noted by many, the food was a three to four course affair that included wine with dinner. While...

Could not have wished for anything more. Excellent service, food and location. We will definately visit Lough Dan House again. As soon as you step inside the house you feel relaxed. A better place for spending your vacation is hard to find.

I don't know what I can add to the overwhelming number of positive reviews that would persuade someone browsing this site to a) visit the Wicklow Mountains b) stay at the Lough Dan house. Now that I have seen the area's natural beauty and St. Kevin's medieval monastery, I am sorry that I did not stay in the Wicklow Mountains...

Lough Dan house is located in a perfect spot for fantastic walks. You can walk for hours or if you are like us you can walk for a couple of hours and enjoy the absolutely idylic surroundings. Lough dan House is a 'get away from it all' B&B, with no tv, crowds or noisy neighbours! The bedroom we stayed in...

Everything about this B&B was wonderful. The setting, the view, the room, the hosts were all more than we could have hoped for. Teresa works tirelessly to please every guest, even cooking dinner at 10pm for some late arriving guests, and it is obvious that she and Shaun really enjoy running a B&B. One of our fondest memories will be...
