We went here on Saturday afternoon on the way to Glendalough. We hadn't tried it before so we didn't know what to expect. The bar/restaurant areas are lovely and cosy and I'd like to try it some evening for drinks as the atmosphere was good too. We both had starters and main courses and our 2 year old ordered from...

Had a lovely meal with friends. The chicken curry is delicious. Friendly, enthusiastic staff. Really enjoyed our meal and felt very welcome. There was no feeling of being rushed to get another group in or anything. The desserts are huge! I would suggest sharing.

We stayed in the Roundwood village area while camping for a few days. Came here for a cooked fry up breakfast on the first morning. Thought it was great. The next day we thought we would try the small cafe opposite on other side of the road which was a bad mistake and not very good at all so we...

We have visited here with the kids several times. The food is always great and the staff have been superb. Nothing was too much trouble and they were great with the kids. Well worth visiting for a drink or bite to eat.

We went on a wet bank Holiday Monday expecting that we would wait ages for service. We were pleasantly surprised to find a varied menu and fast and friendly service. We only visited the restaurant so cannot comment on the rooms

The difference with the very nice B&B's is rather shocking. We very much had the impression that the only thing they were interested in was our money. The breakfast was very poor: no juce no joghurt only two slices of bread, no one asked anything about our satisfaction, clearly they knew we were not! Both owner and personal had no...

We were camping nearby and called in for dinner, staff were very friendly and looked after us well Children enjoyed their dinners and adult portion sizes were huge. There was a great range of food on the menu to choose from. Good value, good spot!

We didn't stay here but had dinner. I phoned at the last minute needing a table for 10 and we were accommodated brilliantly. The food is superb, I've never been to dinner with a big group where every single person, kids included, cleared their plates. Service was excellent, the staff are so lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

We have been to the coach house 4 times. We have always been made feel very welcome. We have two young children and the menu really suits. Great pasta. We are not a chicken nugget or sausage for kids family. Great fish and meat. All the staff we have dealt with have been so nice, nothing is a problem. Great...

“A room away from the Car Park, don't stay at a weekend and despite being on the Wicklow Way, not at all welcoming to walkers.”

“We did not have any problem with noise. Perhaps we slept soundly because we had walked 28k that day! It was fine. So, a good place to stop if you are on a walking trip as it is only a short detour from the Wicklow Way and there are several places to eat.”
