From the minute we arrived, we had a warm welcome. Hotel is facing the parking for the village of Volastra high in the hills above the tiny villages by the water. The hotel is sparkling clean, Antonella and the staff are friendly and good host to the region. Volastra is a nice village with a few good restaurants, and a...

We had such a wonderful stay at Il Saraceno. The location was perfect - away from the tourist fray at the seaside, but an easy shuttle ride down to Manarola. The hotel is not fancy, but is comfortable and clean and well-managed. Antonella is a lovely host who catered to our every need. The hotel has underground parking, a nice...

With the two seaside trails closed, this is in a great location in Volastra, above Manarola as the upper trail goes right through town. The hotel does not have great views, but it does have a very pleasant patio area for eating and drinking. The bus from Manarola stops right across the street! The owners were very helpful with info...

We chose Hotel Il Saraceno primarily because we were driving in. Now that I have visited all 5 villages of Cinque Terre, I would stay here again if I arrive by car, but if I arrive via train, I would stay at Monarola, it’s our favorite village of the five. Hotel Il Saraceno has its own underground parking and that’s...

My wife and I stayed Here for 2 days in June 2015. The location is ideal for drivers who want to visit Cinque Terra (free indoor parking). The location in Volastra has very easy bus connection into Manarola. The rooms are exceptionally clean and spacious. Antonella was a great host. Will strongly recommend this B&B.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel with the purpose of visiting Cinque Terre. The location is just perfect with the bus stop opposite the hotel enabling you to be in Maranola in 15 minutes and from there it is easy to go to the other towns by train, or boat, or bus. Volastra is a lively little town and...

The hotel is run by Antonella who is very nice and helpful, she gave us all the information about the bus, boat and train to Cinque Terre. The hotel is in a very good location (close to the bus stop to Manarola), offers free underground parking (valuable in the hot summer days), spacious and clean room and bathroom. The weakest...

I actually did not have the pleasure of staying in this hotel even though I had it booked for 2 nights. Due to a medical emergency, my husband and I had to cancel our trip to Italy at the last minute. In the middle of dealing with our problem, I completely forgot to cancel this reservation. The management of this...

What a great say. The hotel is up on the hill, away from the tourist craziness of the towns below. It's also great because they have free parking. The service is incredible. Antonella will help you with anything, including giving you the latest lowdown on the trails, boats, and other local info. The rooms are big but basic. Breakfast is...

My wife and I stayed with Antonella for four wonderful days in April 2015. The location is ideal for drivers who want to visit Cinque Terra without actually staying there. Antonella has wonderful, clean, quiet rooms with a super breakfast. The location in Volastra has very easy bus connection into Cinque Terra, and we hiked three times into the Cinque...
