We stayed here for 4 nights in January 17. The location is right on the beach. Overall we had a nice enough stay but were left feeling a little underwhelmed. The positives. Kenny is an amazing chef and the food was incredible - not the cheapest, but the seafood and curries were the best we had in a whole month...

The hostess, Ramani, and her team really made this a perfect week break for me. It's just a beautiful little resort right on the beach that is perfect for relaxing all morning and then kitesurfing as the winds pick up in the afternoon. The room is simple, clean, and very comfortable. The food is delicious, something new everyday!

We stumbled across this place because one of the friends I was traveling with did not go on a dive with us and was exploring in the morning. We had reservations at another place, however, since we wanted to see the dolphins the next day, we decided to stay in the town rather than go south about 15K. The place...

I arrived there with two friends on motorbikes, one from Australia and the other from Spain. Our hostess, Ramani Corea, showed us a large fish fresh from a fishing boat and we had an absolutely delicious lunch followed by an exploration of the Kalpitiya peninsula. Dinner was also mouth-wateringly tasty and I went to sleep in a room that got...

We found this place quite by accident, as our previously-arranged accommodation plans proved to be less than satisfactory. Ramani and her staff accommodated our party of nine individuals for two nights at very short notice. We stayed in the rooms, which were clean, neat and comfortable. There was really nothing that we as a group (an extended family with ages...

Stayed one night with my family including a 6 month old baby, 6 year old kid and a expecting mom and the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Food and the service was the best about this place. The washrooms and rooms were worth for the money paid but can surely be made better....

Beautiful place and nice rooms! We stayed there for 8 nights, left our kitesurfing gear there and travelled around the country. After that we came back and enjoyed our stay for some days more. The food is the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, Kenny (the cook and the manager) does a really good job. The rest of the staff...

I stayed for four nights at Diyamba and I was extremely happy with my stay. It was a very homely and welcoming place, and the staff were helpful and lovely people. The resort was right next to the beach, which we spent every morning on swimming and sunbathing, whilst also meeting many of the local animals - which we absolutely...

When I first arrived I thought that it wouldn't be a place I wanted to stay as I normally I stayed in bigger hotels, after a few hours of staying here I began to love the feel of the place. The staff were incredible so friendly and lovely to talk too. The food was very traditional however extremely nice a...

Everything was very busy when we arrived but we found diyamba resort, it turns out we got lucky and found this amazing place. The staff here are all amazing and the chef Kenny does amazing food all the time. We were skeptical at first being our first stop in Sri Lanka but not once got sick from anything here and...
