I was personally very positively surprised at how much I liked it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
On the day of arrival I could leave my suitcase before check-in and use the thermal bath until the room was ready.

Because I traveled in the summer, there was pretty little going on. Most of the hustle and bustle took place in the sauna/nudist area but also to a level where I could still relax. Of course, it was quietest in the private hotel spa.
The selection of different saunas is large and the sauna infusions also top.

The food selection for breakfast and dinner was very large and also good in my opinion.
I didn’t really eat anything for lunch because I wasn’t really hungry due to the heat and the portions were too big for me.

I am very satisfied with my stay, I had set out to relax 4 days and that was quite possible.
The whole Asia theme is not my style and too kitschy for me but that's not what I need to focus on when I'm there for sauna, sunbathing and swimming.

We were our first guest at the spa hotel after a few spa visits. From the beginning we felt comfortable. The staff was very attentive and everything worked out just like the train station pickup service. The room was very nice, the bed very pleasant. The food was just a dream. Both the dinner and breakfast were just a class of their own. The hotel's own pool/spa area was also a dream. Overall a perfect stay. If you include admission to the thermal baths in the hotel price, the accommodation is on average the same as other hotels, stop additionally with admission to a large thermal baths. We will definitely come back.

I can rate both the spa and the hotel as we spent 2 nights there.
First, to the hotel: Very clean room, comfortable bed, nice staff, mega food!!! Both at breakfast and dinner, Asian cuisine is involved, and I really have to say they can cook!! We loved the different dishes with their exceptionally intense tastes!

To the thermal baths: no idea why this thermal bath can be called the thermal baths? There are 3-4 basins in the main area that have about 35°. By the main pool you can swim out and there are various bubble jets. All well and good but the spa is very unlovingly built. When you look around indoors, you feel more like you're in a swimming pool, not a spa. There are no beautiful lights, there is also no pool bar in autumn/winter. You can only eat in the restaurant. The loungers are extremely uncomfortable, have no pads to lie on. Since we are not sauna-goers, we cannot really judge the sauna area, but what we noticed was that in one day there was not a single employee for the infusions in the sauna, as they all had training. However, you pay for a day ticket in the thermal baths for both normal thermal use and the sauna area.

Conclusion: We would have paid a little less for 2 nights in Bad Schallerbach and would not have had to drive so far as we are from near Linz. And value for money would have been better.
This spa won't see us again.

Hurraa! If I were to visit Kasperl in the puppet stage, then some things would amuse me and I would clap my hands, but in the Asia Therme I feel more to cry about, where in the middle of the pre-Christmas business, rebuilding, in the sense of rest and relaxation. Perhaps the security, indeed such a handsome man, should dress, has suddenly and unexpectedly stood in front of the sauna entrance today, perhaps this should provide peace. Since 2008, no security has ever been seen in the sauna area. Nor does anyone who has to watch naked people smeared with salt in front of the sauna chamber. Strange for everyone involved, at least, but not for the one who might have arranged this in a wine mood. Unfortunately, the whirlpools in the sauna and hotel area also failed with the conversion. Patience is required here, the last time an indoor pool in the sauna area was closed for a whole month and not usable. How long it will take this time, no grandmother can't answer that. For the patient spectator, please clap your hands here, which have been constantly rationalized to few loungers in the sauna area for the conversion right away. If more guests are expected from the conversion, where are they? Above each other? For this reason, the café in the entrance area is only open until noon, which will possibly delight guests who do not want to visit the Asia Therme but only the café. A neat terrace in the entrance area with wooden flooring is then probably also demoted to flower island due to lack of guests. Flowers can suddenly be found in every corner of the spa, only the actually necessary disinfection of the sauna cabins between infusions, nobody has ever taken care of. As well as on various mixers, shower heads, hair dryers and tiles should be applied by hand. Crumbling masonry in the vicinity of the indoor pool has not yet managed to clear or repair in recent months. To list all other shortcomings here would also be beyond the scope. Why should, obviously a Kasperl has the sceptre firmly in his hand and thus makes many guests look elsewhere with a probability bordering on safety. Perhaps someone who is responsible for all this should only visit the sauna world or wellness area once after years, then it would probably be easier to dedicate resources specifically to the well-being of the paying guests even without the obviously wrong degree. Right now, a real Kasperl stage.

The helpfulness of the staff was sensational. My husband is currently disabled and on the road with a walker. Starting with the chauffeur of the shuttle bus from the train station to the hotel and the staff at the reception who immediately allowed us to move into the room (at 9.30am) and also programmed a clock for the disabled entrance at the turnstile to the restaurant staff who reserved us a table on the corner with space for the rollator for the entire stay. Thank you for this helpfulness. We will definitely come back.

This was our second visit and was largely disappointing. We found the service to be excellent and the staff just great, but management was lacking in several ways. During covid 19, there was no attention to health safety other than the occasional location of disinfectants. Out side the main building's pool, lounge chairs were arm to arm on the entire patio, with no masks required and no distancing. Guests were entering the pool without first showering, as required, and no staff paid any attention to this. Much of the buffet foods for both breakfast and evening meal were open and uncovered -- wholly unsanitary at any time, but outrageous in the coronavirus era. There was no distancing in the bar or cocktail areas, and neither bartender nor wait staff wore masks. On person in our party became quite ill after eating breakfast after eating yogurt/meusili taken from an open serving dish at breakfast. The facility is very good, but we saw far too many sweating people in tank tops and sleeveless t-shirts in the dining room, who would openly cough or sneeze near others' food plates. Apparently, any care for quality of health or even quality of some very low brow guests was of no concern to management. We see no reason to return. Lack of care is evident everywhere. No one wipes down gym equipment in the fitness studio. And, even in one's room, if you a lay back on your bed you see a ceiling of unfinished concrete, which they never bothered to paint, something reminiscent of what you might expect in an old East German soviet hotel. Nope.

On my last visit 6 months ago, filling up was "no problem at all" and of course possible in the parking garage. I was allowed to go into the garage, fill up, and drive home with a charged car as a day guest at the spa. Awkward but OK. Fine!
And today I'm suddenly told "that's always only for hotel guests" and "that was perhaps a one-off exception". Aha! Good to know, since I'm already standing here! Shouldn't you be told that at the first "exception"? Then I'll just not come anymore!
Then send someone to Bad Erlach - charging takes 2 hours here.
So I can drive straight there to fill up, then pay horrendous amounts as a blocking fee or add another two hours to my spa day to charge so that I can get home again. Ridiculous. I'm really shocked that you don't offer an e-charging station here.
And with all due respect and as beautiful as the spa is, that's an absolute no-go. As long as there is no publicly accessible electric charging station, I will not come anymore.

As a couple we visit the ASIA Resort Linsberg every year and it is simply our favourite place! The atmosphere is luxurious and welcoming, perfect for romantic breaks. The cuisine is outstanding – always inspired by the variety and quality of the dishes. The spa offers a wonderful opportunity to relax and enjoy together. We are looking forward to our next stay and can highly recommend the Resort.

We stayed at the Asia Linsberg Hotel in October. The room was very nice, except that there was no fridge. The Thai dinner and service staff were also top notch! The spa area and massages were very pleasant! Unfortunately, our actually lovely stay was overshadowed by the rudeness of the reception staff, who snapped at us and didn't really help us with luggage and additional services. For example, we had to take all our luggage to the spa area on the first day. If we had any questions, the ladies seemed annoyed. That's a shame, because such rudeness should not happen in a 4-star superior hotel. You don't feel welcome here!

Very nice facility and also the staff is very friendly. I avoid the word spa, because the water and also the room temperature are much too cold for a spa. I am really surprised that the Asia Spa management does not respond to the many negative reviews regarding the low temperatures. I live about 30 minutes away from the plant, i.e. in my surroundings pretty much everyone has been to Lindsberg, and it doesn't matter who you talk to, there is always the same criticism, FAR TOO COLD. very many of my acquaintances now avoid their plant due to the low temperatures.
I would pay a few € more immediately if I don't have to freeze for it.
Unfortunately, even these lines will not change anything!
