Arrived the night of a big storm in QLD, not sure if I was doing the right thing booking in next to a lake! Got a little drenched but the wild night made for a memorable evening. Lovely cottage. Has microwave, cooking elements etc. TV, DVD. We bought a couple of DVDs and watched those. lovely sunrise with kangaroos on...

Gorgeous romantic getaway for 2 nights. The complete package with breakfast, antipasto, platter, wine and chocolates is great value. We chose a continental and a cooked breakfast pack. The cooked breakfast pack doesn't look like there's a lot there but is definately plenty once you sit down to eat without wastage. The continental breakfast pack was enough to have left...

We stayed at Lake Weyba Cottages for the first three nights of our holiday. My husband had been in Australia for two weeks and I had just flown out. We were in No 8 cottage which is the 'honeymoon suite'. It was the last of the cottages so pretty private. Having just arrived it was magical to have kangaroos grazing...

We stay a lot in cabins in the hinterlands, this is definitely one of the better ones. Beautiful cabins. Wooden features everywhere. Great little spa, 3 steps away from your bed. The cabins are spread enough you feel isolated. Plenty of wildlife around. The grounds are beautiful. Go for a walk to the lake. If it wasn't a cold day...

My two sisters and I spent three nights in the Pavilion and could not have asked for a better place to relax and escape the world to spend some quality time together. The cottage was very well appointed and had everything we needed to just enjoy each others company with no interruptions. We loved it so much we extended our...

Wow - what can I say! My partner and I spent 4 nights in cottage #4 and loved it! I'm not sure what the negative reviewers meant about the cottage not being private. We had other guests in the cottages around us and didn't hear or see anyone else - although everyone's experiences are different. The wildlife is great and...

What a delightful place. Beautiful grounds, well appointed cottages, peaceful and relaxing. I'm not usually so effusive in my reviews, but waking up to the sounds of the birds and sight of all the kangaroos was lovely. Sitting at the lakeside of an evening created an enduring memory. Phil was very helpful. Simply cannot recommend the place more highly.

We spent the weekend here as out getaway from the busy life on the Sunshine Coast after Christmas and New Year with our jobs. This place was amazing as it was peaceful and relaxing- where can you go with no traffic noise, kangaroos bounding across the acreage, cheeky butcher birds checking to see what food you may have, magpies coming...

This place is paradise. Such a tranquil setting, exquisite cabins and friendly, helpful staff. The location is ideal, just a short drive to beaches and Noosa, if you can bear to drag yourself away from the wildlife and peace of the Cottages - which over the four days we stayed we rarely could! We booked the elopement package so stopped...

We booked the elopement package with Lake Weyba Cottages. The marriage celebrant was lovely. The ceremony went without a hitch. We had massages and a gourmet dinner cooked at our cottage. The whole day was incredibly relaxing and perfect. Exactly what we wanted. We highly recommend staying here - peaceful, uninterrupted, slice of heaven.

Thank Kew G
