Really enjoyed my time there, comfy room and very clean, scenic view and wine tasting on Saturdays! all in the hands of the Brezza family, makers of really fine wines. Attached a very good restaurant too!!

Overall rating. *** (out of max 5). Downgrade because there is no pool in the hotel as stated in the description. Please be aware that in the whole Baraolo region the prices are high and you get less for the money than in other regions. Location **** (out of max five). In the middle of the Barolo wineyards. Room. *****...

There are some pluses but also some minuses of this old, family-run country hotel. On the plus side: location, friendly service, reasonably clean rooms with traditional and functional furniture. On the minus side: very slow Internet connection, a breakfast buffet that needs upgrading and can run out of some essential items (bread, fruit, eggs), sparse bath room amenities (no facial...

We had to laugh - after a trip of many notable highlights, our last night in Italy was something of a disappointment. I should add that most of this was not the fault of the hotel. On arrival our reservation was not recognised, despite a sheaf of confirmatory emails. Fortunately a suitable room was rapidly located, in the new part...

Decided to extend our stay at Hotel Barolo to 2 nights. Great place, spectacular views, good restaurant, wonderful wine tasting and great family service. Pool was a life saver as it was very hot. (Keep in mind that one needs to wear a bathing cap, available to buy for a cheap enough price.) The family room we had was huge,...

Charming hotel nestled amongst the vineyards of Barolo. Dinner at the hotel restaurant is an absolute must- serving exquisite homemade Italian cuisine and divine locally produced wines, not to mention the romantic setting of the outdoor terrace! Rooms are simple but lovely and clean.

Fell upon this hotel purely by chance having crossed from the French border; wasn't looking for anything spectacular just somewhere nice and clean to spend the night.....well what a wonderful surprise this turned out to be - the hotel is set in the most charming town up a hill overlooking breathtaking scenery. The hotel room (double) itself cost €100 per...

I was part of a group staying in the new part of the hotel. Rooms are spacious; some look out on the castle. I looked toward the vineyards. It's all picturesque. Watching grapes come in from the vineyard for crushing is an added bonus. Getting into my shower/tub combo required some acrobatics. It's more than 2 feet higher than floor...

My family stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful weekend. The room was clean, had three beds and the airconditioning was good enough even though it was a very hot summer. The meal at the restaurant was stunning - superb salami, fresh pasta, tasty rabbit and delicious deserts along with a bottle of red from the winery in the...

We stayed 2 nights in a nice and big family room with a great bathroom. We had a very good and long evening dinner with our friends on the terrace looking at the castle. We enjoyed the secrets of the wine cellar, the car trips and walks in and close to Barolo and the good breakfast in the courtyard. The...

“Wi-fi was sporadic...sometimes fine, sometimes difficult to engage....not a show stopper or spoiler though...we were assigned a lower level room in the newer portion with VERY limited view, but we spent very little time in the room as we traveled the Langhe each day for,the entire day, so It was of little consequence, but if you are going to spend time in your room try for an upper level....”
