The owner and her family are extremely welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Lovely room with balcony and view over the hills (I think all rooms have this). The room had a lot of character and was very clean. Our room was cleaned and bed made on our second day which we hadn't expected for the price. They...

Agriturismo le Viole is a great family run place. It's in a great within 5 minutes drive to Barolo and La Morra and within a walking distance to a very nice restaurant and winery. We had a great experience and the owners were very friendly. The rooms were comfortable, clean and warm (we visited during the winter). Breakfast was good...

The owners: The entire family is incredibly friendly, and all go out of their way to accommodate the guests. Upon check-in, we were offered wine, cheese, salami, fruit, etc… By the time we left, we felt as though we had been visiting family. …our adopted Italian aunt! They spoke very little English. However, this gave us the perfect opportunity to...

Nice place in the hills near Barolo. Kind people, spacy and clean rooms, free wifi, fantastic view over the vineyards. When the sky is clear you can even see Monte Viso. The breakfast is ok for Italian standards: good coffee, nice cakes, but the bread is old and the juice is sweetened stuff. It's a nice walk to Barolo, but...

This B&B was quite a find - a perfect spot from which to explore Barolo, Barbaresco, La Morra and other wine and beautiful little villages of this area. While the B&B itself is on a road rather than back among its vineyards, it is quiet at night. Trucks and Vespas are a bit noisy coming up the hill during the...

We travelled as a group of six. First of all we were amazed that on Sunday in August that is the holiday month of Italy and the countries near by neither Barbaresco nor Barolo was busy. We had the possibility to stroll leisurely along the cobbled streets. The country roads were not busy either. The scenery is so beautiful. Le...

We stayed only one night, because we were just passing through. But even so we had a very enjoyable stay, and we think it's easy to see that Agriturismo le Viole would make a great place for a couple (or a family) to use as a base to explore Barolo and the surrounding countryside. We hope to return some day.

This couple was SO kind to us before we even met. The host drove into Alba late at night to pick us up and his wife had BREAD CHEESE MEATS AND WINE from their vineyard waiting! It was hospitality we had never experienced. The views from the hammock were riveting. The small town was a brisk and beautiful walk away....

From arrival to our departure our stay at Le Viole was perfect. The owner, Tiziana, provided not only a nice, clean and spacious room but did all in her power to accomodate my wife and me. From the welcome coffee and cake to seeing her waving "Good bye" from our rearview mirror, she and her staff made our visit here...

The women of le viole were so helpful and cheery.  Within five minutes, the mother will offer you a cake or a drink or a handful of nuts. Quiet and plenty of room for kids to roam around. Beautiful views. Stay here to escape the busyness of your days.
