The nearest station is Fushimi station (the first stop from Nagoya station on Higashiyama line, with next stop being Sakae station), about 7mins on foot. The standard smoking room is simply a bed to sleep and has an air cleaner machine. I booked a night as I only needed a bed to sleep, however was satisfied with the facilities offered. The 2nd floor houses the relaxation facilities, which includes a small public bath area with sauna and jacuzzi, hot stone room, massage chairs, and compact gym which closes at 1am. The floor also has coin operated laundry services and drink vending machines. I made the most of the public bath area and free massage chairs in the late evening and morning before check out. This is where the stay holds value. The massage chairs were great and easy to use with four pre-programmed courses which run for about 20mins. The hotel also has convenient designated smoking areas, in the lobby and on the relaxation floor, unlike some hotels with none or an area outside of the hotel. I could start my day refreshed. My short stay here was good.

I love staying at this hotel because it is clean, affordable, and in middle of Nagoya City in Sakae. If you want a nice hotel that is near all of the action of shopping, foods, entertainment, near subways and bus depots, THIS is the hotel for you. Book in advance so you get into this place as it does sell out.

A bit farther from the Nagoya station than I thought (15-20 min), but it was pretty close to the Fushimi subway station. Then found out that there is a free shuttle to the Nagoya station every half hour in the morning starting at 7, and from the station in the late afternoon and evening. Room is about standard size for budget hotels in Japan that are within the city. The buffet breakfast is adequate; service is reasonably good. Bed comfortable, room clean and staff generally helpful. Overall a pleasant stay

Small clean rooms and reasonable breakfast. Soundproofing not too good but nice hotel very well located close to station and metro and cafes and shopping not too far away. Old town walking distance to south.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. All in all, I had a very good impression about the service, amenities offered and breakfast. Regarding the room, I must say it was very well maintained and clean. But, as I am foreigner, I am not used to stay in such tiny small rooms ! But I guess this is the common standard in Japan, as I stayed at exact same size hotel room in Tokyo as well. Regarding the breakfast, it is the same each and every day! But again, it is very common in Japan. So, you either eat out or get used to it, if you came here for a longer stay. Over all, I recommend this hotel as it is very well located, well priced and clean.

Arrived late evening and enjoyed the jetted bath followed by the soaking pool before a good night's sleep in the comfortable bed. An array of softer pillows available as you exit the elevator if you don't care for the harder standard pillow. The free breakfast was a choice among 4 soups and maybe 6 pastries, sweet or savory, milk, juice, cereal, yogurt and a coffee machine with about 6 choices. Helpful staff. I would definitely stay there again, but would say that if (like me) you don't speak or read Japanese it is a bit of a challenge. All the onsen instructions were in Japanese only, so without previous experience you might have a problem. The soups had a drawing on the label, but were all good so you didn't really need to know. 20-25 minute walk from the station but onsen, comfort and price made this a better choice for me than hotels closer even though I was going to the station each day.

The single room is very small, but functional. Bed was comfortable, the air conditioner worked, wifi was stable, and staff kept it clean daily. Had a desk, which is handy, but only a bit of room for the chair. However, several things to like about the hotel: great onsen. Three tubs and a sauna. Great fix after long days walking. Also free van to and from the train station. Breakfast was comped and the coffee was good. Soups not my thing in the morning, but a nice assortment of baked goods and yogurt. Also, a coffee machine at the reception area is handy. Desk staff cheery, but English is not a job requirement. However, it all worked out. Area around the hotel has some decent restaurants and shops, but is a ways off from the downtown area.

About 15 minutes walk from the station. Small room (typical for Japan). Room was clean and quiet. No English TV. Looked to be some pay TV options (adult movies). Fitness area with male and female spa. Breakfast is soup with bread, pastry, hard boiled egg, etc. No fruit or toast. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. And plenty of small supermarkets. Friendly staff.

I stayed overnight there. Room is small -- typically small. Bathroom is "like in many hotels in Japan -- all from the same plastic-form" -- it is small. Onsen is OK, but nothing special -- other than TV in the sauna. There is no way to get "outside" to cool down -- people with hypertension -- not a very friendly place in this way (too hot). Free to use (full-size) massage chairs -- extra! I love these!!!!! Breakfast -- soup and pastries with mini-sausages. Soup was minestrone-like and good. Pastry was also good. But, there was almost nothing else... highly unusual -- though, not bad ;-)

Free breakfast with not enough choices but not bad. Have great onsen and free shuttle bus from and to Nagoya station. Free wifi inside room but lower speed and sometimes disconnect. Overall, reasonable with nice staff.
