Located at red-light district, totally not for family stay. Staffs english is good however it was useless, because they are too cold with no smiling, not proactive and not helpful even for a simple request. Room size is reasonable but hair everywhere, disgustingly we saw a underwear underneath the bed. I can tolerance the location as this is something can not change but not the soft ware such as service and hygiene. Anyways, a disappointed stays, I may consider to stay again at Mystays hotel group in future but definitely not this branch even at a very low room rent.
We stayed here for 4 nights. Reception was impeccable; very friendly. The room was, as may be expected, small but everything was nice and very clean, down to even the entire toilet and the window curtains. Small things matter, such as having a drain that separates the bath tub from the rest of the toilet floor, a very logical tap that separates temperature control and flow rate (as well as shower/faucet switching), ergonomically designed toothbrush (love that), and nice charging cable for mobile devices, etc. Breakfast provided was simple but nice - can run out of option if you have it for more than twice. The only downside was that our room was facing the street and that is noisy as it is filled with night places. On our last morning, we were woken up at about 5.30 am by a couple of (let me just call them obviously foreign) women quarrelling loudly in the street. So ask for a room facing some other direction? …
The hotel location is strategic for travellers who come to Nagoya. Within walking distance, it is Oasis 21, Nagoya TV tower, and there are not far to walk to Nagoya Castle too. Plenty of restaurants, food, even who like to have shoppings. All are just within the walking distance. Its so convenient whereby no worry for those travel in group where train statins, bus station (local tourists spot) , bus station for airport limousine all are just within 5 to 10 mins walking distance. Besides, the hotel counter service are so good. If you hv early arrival, you can hv baggague drop at the hotel counter its free and safe. Although the room that we can get are a bit small in size, the toilet are clean and new. Baththub and shower with heater are all function good. No worry to have infant and old people to stay in this hotel.…
The cheapest rooms in the Mystays are usually very small, hotel location was good, but far away from a JR station keep that in mind! You need a metro ticket. But yes it's a noisy touristy area so keeping the window open at night wasn't an option so the room gets very stuffy, AC doesn't get new air in...
This hotel was similar to the Mystays in Narita.....Nice comfortable rooms, polite reception, Good toiletries (please supply body lotion) Big beds, Ample plug points Breakfast was filling if not awesome! Thank you Mystays enjoyed the short visit!
I stayed 2 nights in March 2019 and found it quite enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and helpful; including a great recommendation for dinner at a local tebasaki restaurant. The rooms are tiny, but this is my expectation for this style of hotel in Japan. The room was very clean and comfortable; and the free laundry facilities were also well maintained. I had not noticed any reference to the best exit from Sakae Station when I booked via Booking.com; however MyStays website does mention a 3 min walk from Exit 1. I did not choose the breakfast option. so could not comment on it. I would happily stay at this hotel again, as it was fairly central and easy to get around Nagoya from.
The hotel are located in the night life area my room are close to the room but Windows can not close tightly so, I can sleep until 4 am , very sad In the morning, the breakfast quite small and dirty , food are little choice and only one are taking care.
