HotelLocation is good at the city centre, 10min walk from tenjin station. Staff are friendly. Basic needs are provided in the room, clean and neat. Nothing much on the negative side. Breakfast is good and have few varieties but you get bored on the next couple of day because they serve the same dishes every morning. Overall i enjoyed my stayed.
Good clean hotel. Small room with equally small toilet. Receptionists spoke English and could advise us where to go and what to eat in areas surrounding hotel. Able to keep our luggage before check in and after checkout. Felt safe at the way they handled the luggages and there were a lot of them in the small lobby. We stayed 2 nights so was fine with the almost same breakfast every day. Loved the DIY smoothie. Breakfast staff was at hand to guide you and food was replenished fast. The pudding in the small glass bottle was really good- reminded me on the ones from Le Tao bakery in Otaru. And small “french toast” served in the skillet was also good when warm. And hot and cold drinks at the lobby throughout the day. Location was good. Not near but walking distance to Tenjin Station, Daimaru, Big Camera, Ganso Hakata Mentaiju, Yoshinoya,, 4 stars cos the bed though clean, was not comfortable. This hotel was the 5th hotel we stayed in for our trip and we could feel the spring fro the bed.…
good location, just 1 minute to arrive the main street. convenient to go to Tenjin shopping areas. Helpful staff always with smiles and could provide travel tips to guests. Reminder: the accommodation fee is dynamic basis on the peak/low seasons. The average fee is lower than that of Toyoko Inn in low season.
Pros: 1. Good reception who knows to speak English and mandarin 2. The reception also able to rent out baby stroller for free 3. Healthy juice at the lobby 4. Super nice smoothie machines during breakfast 5. UCC coffee machine in each room Cons: 1. No more shampoo bar or baby amenities 2. No more handy phone provided in the room 3. We booked a big room- two beds, but only one pillow given to each bed. And no extra pillow provided 4. Breakfast spread was so-so, same breakfast for whole week 5. Price is very high compared to other more convenient hotel
1yr old baby need to sleep on bed with us. their twin bed are 2x standard double which if u put together is even bigger than king size bed. My husband and I finally had a good sleep even with the baby on bed. You can even ask for bed safety frame to install on a side on the bed. The room is big enough to open 2 suitcase on floor which is rare to find in japan. Lobby has refreshment bar, free drinks such as detox water, juice, coffee for 24hrs. Staff very polite and helpful. They helped me to call to airport and arrange for pickup on departure day when I arrived the hotel and realised i have forgot something in the plane. Good location, 10-15mins taxi ride from airport (ard 2000yen). 5mins walking distance to tenjin, 10mins to canal city, 15 mins Nakasu. Very easy even with baby stroller.…
Clean, well run hotel. Free hot & soft drinks. Comfortable small rooms. Breakfast too expensive at 2000 yen per person. Staff very helpful. Interesting atrium open to the elements. Onsen a real must. Will return.
just over the water from Hakata in Tienjin. Once you have dropped off your luggage everything seems within walking distance; shopping malls, street food along Yatai, restaurants and bars a plenty. the hotel was on the budget side of the market and was decent value for money and meet all our expectations
All hotels raised the prices for this rugby weekend. I’m not complaining about that. Breakfast was very good. The room was extra small and bathroom was extremely small, everything miniaturized. For the most part this place is clean, we did have to ask for new comforter due to blood on the comforter. They were happy to replace it. Good location. I’m just not sure I would stay here again especially at the high price rate. I’ve stayed many times all over Japan and yes most rooms are very small, this place was extra small.
A well located hotel in the center of Fukuoka. I would class it as a budget hotel but it was the most expensive of the 4 hotels I stayed in during my trip to Japan. Breakfast was raved about on other reviews I had read, I didn't like it but...each to their own. Staff friendly. Rooms were ok. Staff had little English but were more than willing to help and advise. Very close to lots and lots of bars and restaurants. A five minute walk from the street food sellers on the bridge, this was excellent. Lost a room key card and was charged 1000 yen, this was very disappointing and it did put a bit of a blot on our stay. Close to Tenjin Minami metro but a bit of a further walk to the metro station for the airport (Tenjin) Taxis passing by all the time. Metro to airport 260 yen per person or taxi 2000 yen Good free wifi The fridge switches off when key card taken out...Not very good if you are keeping items in it. No safe deposit box in the room. Views...street views, but nothing special. Bathrooms well equipped but small.…
We were greeted warmly and check in was no problem. The front desk staff was very helpful in giving directions. Actually, all of the front desk staff, not just one, were helpful and nice throughout our stay. Our room was a standard double room. I know that Japanese hotels have small rooms but this room was too small for a couple. There is no closet to put our clothes and no rack to put our suitcases so our two suitcases were on the floor all the time. Although you can hang a few clothes on the wall hook, you have to bend down to open and close your suitcase to get anything that you need which caused me backpain. The bathroom was small but sufficient with amenities. I was happy about the coffee/tea machine and supplies were replenished everyday. In one of the pictures posted by a traveller I saw that aside from the hairdryer a hair straightener was also included. I was happy that I did not have to bring my own, however, be careful when you use their hair straightener because it is the type that can burn you if you accidentally touch it (which I did). There is a small fridge and tv (I wish there was at least one English channel but all the channels were Japanese). There is no safe which I found inconvenient because I had to bring all our valuables with me everytime we went out. The room was cleaned everyday but you have to put out the sign outside your hotel door. There is a bar which provides free water, coffee, tea and juices all day which I really appreciated. It felt good to come back to the hotel after a hot day and have refreshing drink at the lobby. The location, although not along the main road was good. It was close to the bus stop, the train station and the underground mall. In all, I think this hotel is value for money.…
