The room was a little small for two people, but it was clean and there was no shortage of amenities.
The staff at the front desk were polite and would call out to us when they passed by the front desk.
Overall, I think it was a comfortable business hotel.
However, there’s a few sleazy businesses around the area, it’s not recommended for ladies to walk alone in the vicinity.
Price: reasonable. However my room wallpaper seemed to be worn and torn.
Room: very small. I can’t even open my luggage.
Others: there’s a coffee machine where you can get free coffee, an Australian pub below, and some amenities which you can borrow like charger etc.
Overall, ok place to stay.
Modern deco of the hotel, clean and safe, love the package for girl's room a lot, with all the toiletries needed.
The reason 4 star is because of the breakfast, only with a few choices of bread and some juice.
Twins room are spacious with bathroom amenities. No bottle water provided but you can boil from kettle.
Hotel provide daily breakfast, not a full breakfast, it just a simple one, pastries & coffee & juice. This is okay as most of the guests come here for shopping and not enjoying the lifestyle.
It would be better if there is a sofa set or some waiting chairs at lobby.
Housekeepers may need more training or planning on their routine, they had placed all dirty bedsheet and stuffs at floor corridor while they are making the room but they make up the room around 2 hours or above.
Location is close to Daimaru shopping center and Shinsaibashi train station. It is about 10 minutes walk to the famous Glico sign.
Hotel staff is as usual polite to their guests. Not much english is spoken around this hotel area but i do believe they have a Chinese speaking team member.
Room size is Japan’s typically size which is a bit small even tough we stayed at their deluxe room.
We skipped breakfast because not many options offered ( bread, orange juice and tea are all I can see in the bench)..
After all, this hotel is a nice and quiet place to stay at, however for family with young kids and senior citizen, i would recommend to find a closer hotel to shinsaibashi and dotonbori if the price is good.
The hotel has nice / clean rooms though on the small side which is expected. Though the other room I got for my 2 children and mother in law was bigger and adequate for the 3 of them. Bathroom was clean and shower pressure was good. Wifi signal in the hotel was great and fast. My only gripe are that there are no free bottled water provided and no english channel available on the TV.
Check in was quick and front desk staff were very accommodating and helpful. Though the hotel lobby had no seats available if you need to wait for your travel companions. Also, take note that rooms have no phones so it will be difficult to call your companions and the only recourse is to use phone apps thru wifi.
A small hiccup, not the fault of the hotel, during my stay was when we checked out at 5am to catch the 630am train at Nankai Namba. For some reason, the staff at the front desk couldn't get a taxi for us at that time. He even went out of his way to look for one on the streets around the hotel but couldn't find one. Good thing we allotted a good lead time for this. My wife, daughter and mother in law took the subway while I together with my son decided to just walk, with our luggages in tow, our way to the Nankai Namba station which was a better option than dragging 5 luggages thru the subway which will take longer as we will need to use the elevators at the stations which will take some time. All of us made it on time with around 5 minutes to spare.
As mentioned, there is a free breakfast served which consists of various breads, coffee and juice.
Would most likely book this hotel on my next visit.
Cramped rooms. Weird staff. Think prison set to bad r'n'b... I feel like a very young man, told his stupidly rich dad he wanted to own a cool, hip hotel on monday and then lost interest on tuesday and this is the result.
