We booked the Karaksa Hotel Tokyo Station for one night because it was convenient to get to and from the station with our luggage and we were so pleasantly surprised by the great service and extremely well appointed rooms. Everything was terrific from the super comfortable pyjamas, to the toiletries, to the breakfast. Can’t recommend this central Tokyo hotel enough. We had Western style rooms, but also saw the Japanese style rooms and would be eager to try these next time.

Stayed in December 2019 for 3 nights, we booked the interconnecting rooms for 6 (3 adults, 1 teenager, 2 children).

Hotel is very clean, modern and comfortable. Location is excellent! Close enough to the bus station that even my children could walk from bus station to hotel with luggages.

Plenty of restaurants in the area.

Appreciated the “Handy” phone that we could bring out with us when we went sightseeing outside the hotel, as we could use the GPS, as well as the internet.

Only downside was that the rooms were rather small for 6 people, but Tokyo rooms in general are very small. There was no cupboard to hang our clothes, only a rail with a few hangers for our winter jackets.

Would recommend!

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and booked connecting rooms for a party of 4. This hotel is in a great location for those intending to be close to Tokyo Station, as it's less than a 5 min walk away. During our previous visits to Tokyo, we'd typically stay in the Shinjuku area and there's no doubt in my mind that staying in this area offers significantly better value (i.e. less expensive for a comparable hotel or a nicer hotel for an equivalent nightly room rate).

We liked the fact that there was the option of connecting rooms as well. With the connecting doors open, we really felt like we were holidaying together as a family. While not large, the rooms were cosy, clean and well-maintained. No regrets over this choice of hotel!

We stayed here for one night between flying into Narita airport and catching the Shinkansen to Hiroshima the next morning. I chose this hotel due to its proximity to Tokyo Station. The room was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. Staff were extremely friendly and we thought the complimentary drinks in the foyer area was a nice touch. There is a 7/11 just around the corner and Tokyo Station is a 2-3 minute walk. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

My friend & I wanted to do a last minute get away to Tokyo so we stayed here. The room was clean, beds were lovely and showers had nice solutions to use. It was quiet & super convenient to get to/from the train so we could really maximize our time exploring Tokyo. It's also in a nice hub where there are a lot of restaurants in case you are in a bind & need a quick bite to eat. I even did an hour of Yoga before leaving for the day.
Also, there were quite a bit of kids at breakfast so if you have children this place welcomes it.

We recently had a great stay at karaksa hotel Tokyo Station. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. The location is excellent, being close to many train stations and reasonably priced compared to many other hotels in the location. Breakfast was great as well. They do offer a 500 yen per day voucher to nearby restaurants for breakfast but we found the hotel breakfast to be quite adequate and convenient. Our room was small but met our needs. We don't spend much time in our rooms anyway so this was perfect for the price. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Free wifi worked well in our rooms. On our last day in Japan we returned to this hotel and checked in early and they kept our bags and delivered them to our room when it was ready.

Will definitely stay here again when we return to Tokyo!

Very conveniently situated close to Tokyo Station, but very quiet as the hotel is on a side street. The rooms are spacious by Tokyo standards and as a family of four adults, we really liked the option of having connecting rooms. A lot of restaurants and convenience stores in the area.

Tip: Guests can choose between the hotel breakfast or getting coupons to spend at the restaurants at a nearby underground mall - pick the coupons!! The breakfast offered by the hotel had extremely few choices and tasted awful. Also very environmentally unfriendly as they made each guest use disposable plastic gloves and disposable meal boxes. We had breakfast at the hotel for the first day and immediately switched to the coupons for the rest of our stay.

Dear Mr./Ms. atiner Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. Our connecting room type consists of two rooms that can be connected by an inner door. Because of this feature, you can come and go freely without going outside through the hallway. There is also have a restroom and shower In each of the connected rooms, so it is very popular for families and groups. We are very pleased that you were satisfied with this room type's design and features. Meanwhile, please accept our sincere apologies for the breakfast. I will share your feedback with our F&B team to offer an even better service. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back again for your next stay in Tokyo. karaksa hotel TOKYO STATION Front staff

The hotel locates at an excellent with Tokyo Station just around the corner. Shopping and dining are within a few minutes’ walk. Commuting to other parts of the city is extremely convenient. The guest rooms are clean, comfortable and fully equipped though not very spacious. Connecting rooms are recommended if you are staying with your family. There is a small self-served bar in the lobby where you can enjoy complimentary light breakfast in the morning or free soft drinks at any time. Hotel staff are nice, friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay here again.

Cheap hotel close to Tokyo Station. Don't have to lug that 30kg luggage too far.

What this hotel offers is the great location opposite Tokyo Station. It is within 10 minutes to major shopping centres like Downtown Yaesu, Daimaru, Takashimaya and a short walk (2 km) to Ginza. There are convenience stores like 7-Eleven, Lawsons and Family Mart around the corner if one is hungry after hours.

Being centralised, access to major parts of Tokyo is straight forward and easy via the multiple rail lines passing through Tokyo.

The hotel is typical of most Japanese hotels in Tokyo, but still, I found it a little too small with low ceilings ~ approx. 2m (approx. 6' 5"). Beds are just planks with a mattress, so quite firm.

Bathrooms are really small and some acrobatic ability is needed to get in and out of the shower and WC area.

As with most Japanese hotels, amenities like toothbrushes, comb, etc. are provided but you need to collect them from the lobby.

Staff were polite, professional, helpful and conversant in English which made it easy for international tourists. As our flight was late, they allowed us to store our bags in the lobby area for a few hours after we checked out.

Our room was on level 3 where the laundry facilities were located and the corridor smelt like damp, mouldy clothes. For that, I would say my stay was satisfactory as I had no choice since my booking was last minute (made the night before due to change of plans).

I stayed for two nights with my two adult children on a visit to Tokyo. The rooms are beautiful and quiet. We got a three-bed room, and if there was a problem, it might be a lack of counter space in the sink outside the shower. But the look of the room was wonderful. I would gladly stay here again if I were to visit Tokyo. I picked the hotel because of its proximity to the Tokyo Station, and it worked very well for us. Even the hot breakfast both mornings was varied and tasty (you do pay extra for this). You are within walking distance of several shops and stores, and even the Imperial Palace grounds are not very far away (you can get a tour of the areas around the Palace itself).
