Stayed here for 5 nights on our tour of Japan. Teeny tiny rooms but spotlessly clean and fully equipped with fresh pyjamas every night and toiletries galore. There is a ‘top up’ counter in reception where you can simply help yourself to additional toiletries etc and a microwave and of course the ever present vending machine for drinks. There is a restaurant which serves breakfast but some of our group tried it and weren’t impressed so we simply bought food at the nearby 7/11 and stored it in our fridge. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The location is fantastic near Tokyo railway station.

Very conveniently situated, just a few minutes' walk from the main JR station. Standard small, room. The heating/air con was a bit temperamental (as so often) The front desk spoke some English (not much!): they lent me an adaptor. CNN available -- the only hotel in Japan where I could access it, I regret to say.
My only complaint would be that the restaurant was not open for breakfast, but my tour company should have alerted me to this. The restaurant was available for evening meals and I had a very pleasant one there.

We booked this hotel for its proximity to Tokyo Station, but with some concerns after reading reviews about the size of the room. We arrived at 9.30 in the evening after travelling for 23 hours and were very happy with our choice. The walk from the station is less than 5 minutes, even with suitcases in tow, but be aware that Tokyo Station itself is very large and the total walk from the Narita Express platform to the hotel would be closer to 15 minutes. The directions on the hotel website are very accurate and the Golf Shop on the corner of the street is easy to see.

Yes, the rooms are small (we had a double room on the 8th floor). If you are the kind of person who likes to spend a lot of time in your hotel room, then this is not for you. If you're like us, however, and you're up and out in the morning and not back until the evening, then this is perfect for you. A small disadvantage is that there is no wardrobe or drawer space - there is a clothes rack attached to the wall which enables you to hang some garments, but basically you're going to be living out of your suitcase. Once you get over this, it's not a bad way to live, and the maid seems to be quite happy to work around your stuff. We stayed for 8 nights and were very content.

Our room was spotlessly clean, serviced every day and efficiently heated - no view to speak of, but windows which did open to let fresh air in. The bed is comfortable and the hotel is quiet with no noise from surrounding rooms or the street. The bathroom is definitely one person at a time but it has everything you could need, including toiletries, heated toilet seat and bidet. You should be aware that the bath is quite high to step into, and as the shower is over the bath it could be a problem for anyone who has impaired mobility. The bath is small but deep - and was absolutely heavenly when we came back late one evening wet, cold and exhausted.

Apart from being close to Tokyo Station, the hotel is in a nice location. The street is lined on both sides with cherry trees, breathtakingly beautiful if you're there at cherry blossom time. There are several large department stores within walking distance, and the Imperial Palace and Gardens are easily accessible by walking through to the other side of the station complex. Further afield, the trains run frequently and promptly allowing you to access most parts of Tokyo and beyond. We took the Shinkansen to Kyoto and it took us no more than than five
minutes to walk from the hotel to the station platform ready to board the train.

We stayed here one night in Tokyo so we could get an early start to visit Nikko. The hotel is in a brilliant location if you want to be near the station. Its modern and the layout of the room is good and uses the space well.
However we found it very noisy - both from the streets below (even though we were on the 10th floor!) and from the lift which we were right next to. Definitely request a room away from the lift!
Free wifi and free water in the rooms. The staff were very friendly.

The location is a big plus. The room was cramp, dusty as evidenced by the window curtains and the bathroom had a mildewy smell. But for the price, it was OK since the room was mainly to sleep in. No problems other than that.

Let's get it said from the start. I like this hotel. It's clean, the staff is pleasant, and the location is unsurpassed. There really is no argument considering the low price for an accommodation that is three minutes walk from Tokyo Station. A great jumping-off point for exploring Tokyo.

The problem is the room size. It's not just that the rooms are small. There literally is nowhere in the room to store clothes. There are no drawers, and there is no closet. There is a towel rack with two hangers on it, and a hook on the bathroom door. That's it. The desk is usable with a laptop, and there is a small TV. (The only English language channel is CNN International. No BBC, Sky, or NHK World.)

The breakfast is optional, and frankly you should skip the 1200 yen per day for it. For half the price you can get a servicable breakfast at any number of coffee shops or restaurants in the neighborhood.

The Wi-Fi is dependable and relatively fast, although I had trouble streaming Internet radio.

A great place to stay if you just want a bed to sleep in and you plan to spend most of your time outside the hotel.

I stayed in this hotel for a total of 5 nights and had a good experience with the hotel in terms of service and quality of the rooms. It is a simple hotel, which although does not meet the 4-5 stars hotel standard in terms of facilities and amenities, it does provides what is necessary for a perfect stay to enjoy Tokyo and Japan. Rooms are small (as with most other hotels) but clean. Vending machines are located on the second level and outside the hotel for non-alcoholic drinks, beer and cigarettes. It's less than 5 mins walk to Tokyo station which is a central location for travel within Tokyo and is the station where you can take the shinkasen to other parts of Japan. Airport Limousine bus terminal to-from Haneda airport and Narita Airport is also conveniently located less than 8 mins walk from the hotel. Last but not least, the hotel is surrounded with restaurants and bars to end the night without having to spend a bomb on taxi fares back to the hotel or taking a train!

This hotel is ideal for travellers looking for accommodation which is less expensive than the very large luxury hotels. It is ideally placed near Tokyo station. Rooms are clean even though, like most rooms in Japanese hotels, are rather tight. All toiletries are provided including toothbrush and toothpaste, shaver etc. Toilet seats are even heated.
Breakfasts are inexpensive at Y1,200 each but don't expect a lavish choice. Cereals, bacon, sausages, French fries and runny scrambled egg is provided. A basic Japanese-style one is also provided.
As usual staff are very friendly and helpful.
I would return but would have breakfast out.

I stayed at the Yaesu Terminal Hotel while on a business trip to Japan. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from Tokyo Station, it's incredibly easy to find. It's surrounded by many small restaurants and shops, not to mention the shops in the station. It's a 10 minute subway ride from Ginza, 15/20 minutes from Asakusa, and you can walk through the station to the other side to walk around the Emperor's Palace.

The room size is of course rather small, that's typical of Japan. It was clean however and comfortable. TV, small fridge, electric kettle, and I received quite a few beauty samples and things when I checked in (being a woman haha).

I think the only complaint I had is it was somewhat loud some nights. A few nights there was someone using a megaphone, and another night they decided to tear up and redo part of the road outside (though they did all in one night so I have to be a little impressed at their efficiency). Oh, also the breakfast is definitely not worth the cost. I think some people had it included. If it were included then I would have been happy but I didn't have mine included and it was a bit of a disappointment.

Otherwise I had a very nice stay and I will likely choose this hotel again in the future.

I stayed in the hotel in early December 2014 for one night with my two daughters aged 3 & 5.

I booked a twin room. Unlike our previous Japanese hotel, they did not charge extra for the 3 year old for breakfast, this was a plus, but the breakfast wasn't, more on that later.

The hotel is a stones throw from the North Yaesu exit of Tokyo Station. We arrived at 11am and were advised that our room would not be available until the check in time of 1pm. No problem, we went and hit the shopping around the area. The hotel were happy to watch our luggage.

We returned at 12:45pm and were not allowed to access our room immediately but did enter about 12:55pm. This was very nice as my kids were very tired. The hotel saw this and provided us with some complimentary cold water. The rooms adjacent to us were still being cleaned on our arrival at our room, so it did appear as if ours had been prioritised.

The room is really small, it had two small single beds and the springs were old on the sides meaning my kids fell out of the bed. This was not ideal.

The bathroom was the standard Japanese fare, except the plumbing was not great. The bath and sink flowed by plastic drain into a hole in the floor covered by ill-fitting plastic. Once the bath plug was removed water flowed out on to the bathroom floor from this drain. Obviously this is why the plastic was broken as many people had looked as to why their bathroom was flooding. This meant slowly reinserting the plug ensuring a slow release of water. Frustrating. If we weren't so tired I would have called maintenance but judging by the work in and around the drain, management are aware of the issue.

The breakfast was not great, again, only a small supply of bread rolls and croissants counts as a full buffet style western breakfast. They did have submerged scrambled (I guess they were scrambled) egg like substance and some sort of very undercooked bacon like product (I ate it and it was not bacon as I know it - more like processed ham). I can deal with this as we paid minimally extra for the privilege.

The hotel is clean, is it for families - certainly not. It would be perfect for couples, business travellers or singles.
