Guests at Hyatt Centric Ginza Tokyo laud the spaciousness and contemporary design of the rooms, although a few suggest cleanliness could be better. The service receives commendations for being attentive; however, some guests have experienced delays with room service.
The hotel's prime Ginza location is a highlight for many, offering easy access to the city's attractions. While the amenities, including complimentary snacks and a cozy atmosphere, are generally appreciated, opinions on value are divided with some concerns over hidden costs.

Detailed Reviews
Hyatt Centric Ginza is located in the heart of Ginza, with very close proximity to a lot of shopping areas. It is also easily accessible to multiple metro and JR stations, thus can be a great base for exploring other parts of the city such as Shinjuku and Ueno.
The service and staff is exceptional. Before the trip, I emailed to reserve a table at a restaurant. The staff responded very quickly and made the reservation for us.
During checking in, the staff was also very helpful and explained all the benefits. There was a small lounge area with free snacks and drinks for Hyatt members.
The room was clean and well organized. It was a bit small but this is Tokyo. The room has a strange setup with a central station that doubles up as desk and as washing area. This is to save space. Other than that, the beds are very comfortable and the Washlet toilet is great to use as well.
Every day the room is refreshed with free bottles of water and the room is cleaned and organized neatly.
The cash rate is super expensive but we booked before Japan opened up so we were able to take advantage of the low price at the time.
When we checked out, it was rainy and it was inconvenient to carry luggages to walk to the metro station in the rain. So we asked the staff to book a taxi for us. The staff also helped carry our luggages onto the taxi. We really appreciated their exceptional service.
In Japan, you can typically expect much higher level of service than in the US and without the hassle to tip.

Loved our stay at the Hyatt Centric Ginza! Great location near metro stations, luxury shopping, and restaurants. Easy to get to via NRT-TYO bus for 1300 Yen pp - very comfortable and smooth trip to/from NRT; the bus stop is only a few min walk from the hotel. Fantastic array of snacks, sweets, and drinks at the lobby for guests. Small gym. We had a room at the top floor, with an island for the sink and workspace. The shower and bath tub was in its own room...required some ingenuity to keep clothing dry inside the shower room! For those interested in going to the tuna auction at Toyoso, there were cabs waiting outside at 5am for the quick 10min ride there.

Keijiro was great in helping with all our needs and getting a big taxi for us upon checkout. He's also an excellent swordsman. Saito really came through with our late Globalist checkout request.
Taiko, Dai, and the others at the front desk are always so welcoming when we return to the hotel each time that it makes it feel like we are returning home.
All the restaurant staff are great and a special shout out to the cook in the back who always knows what I want to eat.
The housekeeping department is so quick with all requests and they do a fine job of cleaning the room when needed.
Our stay was perfect, thank you. My children love the Aibo, video games, and snack offered in the lobby. I like the complimentary beer in the evening. Breakfast in the restaurant was fantastic and the chef is awesome and always knows what I want. The wait staff is great as well and is always so helpful with my small children.
Our family was very well taken care of. We couldn't ask for more.

We loved our 4-night stay at the Centric and would be happy to come back to this hotel. After agonizing over which location to pick in Tokyo for several months, we are so happy we settled on Ginza. We loved that it was relatively less busy compared to places like Shibuya, and we especially enjoyed the proximity to the Tsukiji fish market. The 15-minute walks to the market at 7am and the subsequent food experiences there were among the very best parts of our trip.
The standard King room was quite big at 376 sq feet and comfortable. There was enough room for us to keep our suitcases and clothes. The blackout curtains worked perfectly.
The shower was spectacular. Yes, the positioning of the sink is a bit awkward, but really not a big deal. There was also plenty of shelving near the sink for both me and my wife to keep all the toiletries and her makeup. A lighted makeup mirror was provided, which is not the case in every hotel.
Having a Nespresso machine is one of my key criteria for picking a hotel, and we had no problem getting additional capsules.
The bed was fine for me, but my wife found it a tad too hard. Beds at two other Japanese hotels on this trip were somewhat softer.
One of the things I very much love about this hotel and most Japanese hotels is how absolutely quiet it is. The level of sound insulation relative to the comparable hotels in the US is simply like night and day. We heard NOTHING from outside of our room or neighboring rooms during our 4 night stay. NOTHING!
We also loved that hotel provides a couple of reusable bottles and there is filtered water and ice machine on every floor.

Picked hotel due to new and location.
Location is the number one selling point for this hotel. It is 2 blocks away from the famous Ginza corner and a 5 minutes by taxi to Tokyo station. Within minutes you are right in the thick of Ginza and all the shops and eating.
The room was a deluxe twin which was big by Tokyo standards with two twin beds and a sitting lounger. The sitting lounger was ideal for one person to kick back but not really comfortable for 2 people but they had chairs at a large table the size of a small dining table in addition to a smaller round one by the sofa. Washroom is open but can be partially closed with sliding doors. Toilet is completely closed in small room but everything else is open so you will notice your companion washing their hands at night. Room was quiet and facing small road that is very quiet at night.
Only issue with noise is they are building near the hotel and can start some work at 6:00 am. This is not the hotel’s fault but be warned their may be construction noise for a short time.
Biggest failing of the hotel is the front staff at reception. When we first got in there was no bell at the lobby on the main floor to help with luggage. We checked in at 8:00 am and we’re not expecting the room and we’re told to come back at 2:00. Came back and was told room not ready till 4:00 as extended check out to another guest even though hotel was full. Pressed on the issue and was quickly told 2:30 instead. Checked back at 2:45 and then told 3:15 due to other issues. Was given drink ticket for inconvenience. Also, came down once to print off tickets and the staff did know how to use printer. Printer did not work well and I had to play with to find out no ink. Staff did not know how to change ink and took 2 of them to change ink. Other time sent Letter to come down to fix payment. Told credit card we used invalid and when pressed about credit card was then told person checking us in did not take full payment. When I checked out staff seemed put out when I asked for printed receipt even though staff told me they could print one out when I checked out. Front staff seemed untrained and put off if you asked for help. There is a free small mini bar as well and we were only told there was soda as well as juice available near the end of our stay. No mention on initial check in.
Overall great location and good room if you get deluxe room but front staff really lets down hotel and is a minus and requires more training.

Tamura-san at the front went above and beyond with a printed personalized info to ensure that I was able to plan my trip back to the airport in the most smooth and cost effective manner.
Breakfast was amazing that satisfies the most common demographics: Westerners, Japanese and Chinese and everything was on top.
Cute welcome minibar for members.
Room was amazing and the table was genious with saving space and serving multiple functions.
Location was central to everything in Ginza. The neighborhood is quieter and cleaner than Shinjuku so it is great for a business traveler.

Hyatt Centric Ginza is slowly becoming my second home. The ambiance and decor of the hotel is relaxing & modern without feeling too pretentious. The rooms are quite spacious by Japanese standards. The beds are comfortable, the free snacks and beverages in the lobby are extremely helpful for people traveling with kids. This hotel is very kid/family friendly, they offer many amenities such s step stool, potty seat, bed guards and baby bath tub. The rooms are also very quiet, they must have built some sound proofing in the walls because I never once heard any noise from the streets, the halls, or neighboring rooms. Each room comes with a mini fridge, we stored our sons milk in there. For the rooms with the reading bed in front of the window (we had a king bedroom), the hotel can set that up as a bed for a toddler. We were also able to fit a crib in front of the TV with enough space for both kids, our luggage and stroller.
The staff is always friendly, inviting and helpful. My family loves the location because its centrally located within Tokyo and there are a lot of restaurants and shops around. The metro station is within walking distance. 7-11 & Lawsons are 1-2 blocks away.
We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, it has a nice variety of food options, some items changing daily. The offer omelette station, grilled salmon, there was always a noodle dish and fresh fruit.
I can't imagine staying anywhere else, Hyatt Centric Ginza is by far one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at.

+1
This hotel exceed my expectation. Service was top notch. Upon the hotel knowing that I have little kids with me, the housekeeping brought me kid’s robe and kit for little kid without me asking for it! Now that’s service! Room was clean and spacious, very well utilized space for things. Decor was great as well. We like to have night light in our hotel room, and this hotel got it perfectly right, not just having a random light on but in specified location that doesn’t bother our sleep.
All in all, great hotel. We will stay again next time we visit Japan👍👍

Hyatt Centric Ginza Tokyo is a fun and comfortable hotel in a lovely part of Ginza, close to Ginza Station. The staff greeted us warmly each and every time we passed through the entrance and the lobby. The lobby itself felt very inviting and offered interesting activities like books, origami, and video games. There were also free snacks and drinks, which we made good use of. The selection changed a bit each day, which was appreciated.
We had a City View Suite. The room was large, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of seating and storage. The Bee Kind amenities were quite nice. Rather than individual water bottles, the hotel offers reusable bottles that can be filled from a nearby water/ice room. This is not exactly convenient, but we didn't find it particularly bothersome. Reusable shopping bags in two different sizes were also provided.
Breakfast offered an adequate spread, but it did not change from day to day, which felt somewhat monotonous. The Japanese selections, however, were quite good, as were the donuts. There was a Globalist happy hour in the same restaurant each night, which was a nice way to end (or start) the evening.
There was some construction across the street, and work was done even at night, but we noticed no excessive noise and it had no impact on our experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and would stay here again.

As tourists we have really enjoyed the stay. We spent five nights at this hotel. The clean, quiet rooms and the great location, where you are nearby large department stores and food options made our experience very enjoyable. We were not impressed with the knowledge of the staff at the checkin. Also the breakfast was not so great and in following days we ate at the City Bakery at the Tokyu (not Tokyo) department store building nearby. The benefits far outweigh the shortcomings and this is why I give a rating of five stars.

There was no construction anywhere near when we were there in mid October 2023
They offer laundry service, just fill out the form with washing instructions
It appears that here is not any interconnecting room I think they have a family room for four people that was already booked but I am not sure.
