Detailed Reviews
My family and I decided to stay at this hotel because the location is perfect; the Mitsui Garden Hotel is near some of the best places in Ginza, such as the Art Aquarium Museum, Mitsukoshi, Tokyu Plaza, the Hello Kitty shop, and the MRT station entrance. When I entered my room, it was clean despite the room being small compared to other hotels near the area. In addition, the window was directly across an office building right beside the hotel. The sink was located near the door instead of in the bathroom, which is a unique and executed idea to perfection. The bed was also absolutely wide and comfy like a fluffy pillow. I would recommend this hotel to everyone that wants to stay near the best places in Ginza because the location of the hotel is 5-star.

Stayed here for two nights in late December 2019.
Check in was efficient and staff spoke good levels of English.
The room was new and modern and more spacious than expected. There was a sofa and coffee table and also a desk for working on. The bed was quite comfortable.
The hotel is very conveniently located. Diagonally across the road from Mitsukoshi. 5-10 minutes walk to central Ginza and 10 minutes walk to Tsukiji outer market (still much more fun than Toyosu by the way). If you are into sake there is a Dassai store with sake tasting right next door.
The airport limousine bus does not stop at this hotel but it is a short taxi ride from the hotel to Tokyo station for the Narita Express.
My room faced walls and did not have much natural light. However I did not stay in the room during the day much anyway.

The location is very central. Very short walking distance to several metro lines. There are lots of restaurants around. The rooms are a little small; however, the space is used efficiently. Our room has a very nice minimalistic decoration that we enjoyed to spend time in the room. The rooms were very clean, i especially loved the bathroom and the wc which was a technologic piece of art. The rooms were better than many 5 star hotels. The only missing thing is the room service.
We’ve booked 3 rooms, it was good gesture of the front desk staff that he accepted early check in even if the hotel was fully booked.
Thank you very much for the service once again.

We stayed here on our last night of our honeymoon thinking I was going to get some shopping done. I liked the room lay out with the toilet, shower, and sink were completely separate from each other. The room was mansion compared to your typical tokyo hotel rooms and made it easy to pack with 2 large suitcases. However, the towels were dirty. We got 2 towels, and I found mysterious hair in 2 towels and a nasty brown stain on the other one. I decided to just air dry myself. The breakfast was a hard pass, and I really regret paying extra for it. The location is conveniently located right next to a train stop, and also about 15 minutes walk to the famous tsukiji fish market with a few nighttime bars down the road as well. Unless you plan on doing some luxury shopping done, I plan to stay elsewhere, since only Muji and Uniqlo are the only affordable places here.

This hotel is in the heart of the Ginza district sitting on top of one of the Ginza subway stops and two blocks from the famous street that is closed weekend afternoons for pedestrians. The glitzy lights of the district at night are a real treat. There are restaurants and department stores across the street and certainly within a short walk from the hotel. The hotel is clean and modern and staffed with friendly English-speaking receptionists. We were on a top floor with a limited view but it was quiet. The room size was bigger than a lot of Japanese hotels but cozy by Western standards. The shower was heavenly! They provided free bottled water and offered a breakfast buffet in the basement. The buffet had a nice combination of Japanese and Western offerings and I particularly liked the very tasty granola, yogurt and fresh strawberries and pineapple. There were plenty of other options such as eggs, bacon, toast, little pastries, and the usual Japanese pickles, rice, soups, fish, etc. I thought it was a tad pricey but breakfast options outside of the hotel were limited. The hotel is elegant and modern and recommended.

The location is very close to Ginza’s main shopping area, the hotel concierge staff is very helpful, and the noise is minimal though our room faces the main traffic. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of food selections. Considering the guests’ comfort, the room's interior design is the best I have ever seen.
However, the room's cleaning team did not clean the plates & spoons we used & left on the table. Not sure if it is hotel's policy to clean them every 3 days. Leaving the dirty plated and spoons on our room's table is the only setback and prevents me from giving the hotel a perfect score.

The room we had was bigger than other hotel rooms of the same location and price range
Clean and all necessary in room amenities available.
Bed on the soft side for me. Linen soft and comfortable.
Strong shower pressure.
Excellent location for metro, eating and shopping. Walked once to Asakusa and took 90mins with interesting sights along the way. Plenty of cafes, high end restaurants and convenience stores in the vicinity.
Not so good - very poor in room WiFi connection; lobby sofas always taken up by people who sit there for hours (maybe they are checked out guests or to be checked in guests?)
Otherwise we had a wonderful stay!

We stayed at Ginza for the first time and this hotel was very conveniently located. The entry to the train station is nearby, one directly outside the hotel. Plenty of shopping and food nearby, a convenience store that sells medication just across the street, and very polite and helpful English speaking staff at the front desk.
The rooms is well designed to maximise space, convenient layout such that the shower and WC are separated, and the vanity table with sink is outside. No need to wait for each other to wash up. The rooms are new, cleaning is good.
We used to be at x09 room hence we had an ok view of the city. We noticed other rooms faced buildings quite close by. High floor is of course preferred.
We didn’t have a chance to have their breakfast since we woke up late most days. We are coming back this weekend and we hope to try it.
Keep up the good with Mitsui staff!

stayed 25 nights for business. 10 mins walk to yamanote line (for Jr pass) and 15 mins to Tokyo Station. from haneda Airport it costs about £50 for a taxi to the hotel around 30 mins drive. hotel was functional modern rooms, bathtub and walk in shower lots of pressure. High standard of cleaning by the maids usual Japanese standard. Room got tv upgraded whilst I was there so had netflix, YouTube etc. Had easy to use iron and usual coffee and teas etc. breakfast was good first 3 days but got boring after a while. Ginza is home to all luxury brands, shopping malls few mins walk and lots and lots of food options. would recommend

Centrally located in an upscale neighborhood, convenient to multiple train lines, clean rooms—small but with everything you need. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which included both Japanese and more western foods. This hotel does not have a bar or even much of a central place to hang out. The staff were not willing to assist with restaurant reservations prior to our arrival; however, once we were there they were very helpful and willing to offer assistance,
