Detailed Reviews
Stayed with my family from January 18-21. The rooms are big. Enough space for the luggages and for you to move around. I liked everything in the room. Very comfortable. I’ve tried other hotels in Ginza. Others were quite pricey while the others were cheaper but the rooms are quite small. The location is perfect. It is near the subway and if you’re into shopping, everything is all walking distance. If I decide to come back to Tokyo, I will definitely stay here.

We just finished a 10-night stay at the hotel, and it was perfect, just what we were expecting, and in a fantastic location.
The room was very small, but again, exactly what we were expecting, and the value was tremendous. Clean, and modern, and with the facilities that we needed.
Having access to a laundry on site during a 10 night say was great, and we could put the laundry on with a passcode for security and go out to dinner and collect on our return.
Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The room was comfortable and clean. The location is ideal, with convenient access to Tokyo Station, making it easy to catch the Shinkansen to other cities and the Narita Express. Additionally, it's just a few steps away from the subway. A 7Eleven is conveniently located in front of the property. The breakfast at the hotel's restaurant was excellent, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. During my trip, I stayed at this hotel twice, and they graciously stored my suitcase, allowing me to travel around Japan with less luggage. I will certainly consider staying here again on my next visit.

It is a nice hotel, well located and very close to metro station. Very convenient to local store, pharmacy etc.
The bad experience we had were 1) we booked a room through booking.com for 2 adult and 2 children and we were provided the choice of twin room, with nice photo showing that 2 large size of double beds. When we checked in the bed size is no where near what was shown on the website and was extremely crowded for 4 of us. I went down and want to see what can we do with this situation and first of all the gentleman I was speaking to can only speak very little English and can't have a proper conversation, couple minutes later he went in and a lady who seems to be the manager came out, using very defensive tone to say there is nothing they can do. I totally understand there is a chance that they are fully book but the entire way they handled this situation was not at the standard as a 5 star hotel.
Secondly, at about midnight a large group of family came back to their room next to ours and making a lot of noise. They were talking loudly in the hallway and I assuming they were jumping on the bed and banged the wall as well. I waited for a while and then have no choice to call the reception if they can politely ask the next door to lower their voice as it was pretty late. I don't think hotel did anything, and around 15 minutes later the whole family went out again so the room become quiet again.
One last point, as a 5 start hotel, the bed sheet they put on our bed has a hole on it, which is showing how old this bed sheet is. Definitely not up to the standard from my view.
Above is just our experience so may not apply to all customer but this is how the small thing makes difference and I don't think Daiwa will be the first choice in the future even though we always stay in GINZA area as other hotels are making much better client services (and room) as well,

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review regarding your recent stay at our hotel. We regret to know that your experience was not pleasant with room size. We are very sorry to learn about your experience with our staff. She should have handled the situation differently. We could not upgrade your room due to the unavailablity of the bigger room. We have many guest with families for new year. We try our best to assign room in different floor for group and individual guests. It is regrettable to know about housekeeping service as well. We would love the opportunity to regain your faith in us. We have sent you a private message in an effort to obtain more information so we could follow up on your concerns. Excellent mid priced hotel at the end of Ginza. Highly accessible via subway to everywhere touristy. We had a deluxe room and was impressed by the size of the room and the presence of a massage chair in the room was a great delight, absolutely stunning and great for post sightseeing evenings
The size of the room is high value for money in Ginza, with a nice tub for a nice warm bath at the end of the day.

This hotel is located on a quiet side street a very short walking distance to the Ginza shopping area. Restaurants, cafes and convenience stores are nearby.
We took the Narita Express from Narita to Tokyo Station and was able to walk to the hotel in about 15 minutes (from the Tokyo Station exit - exit at the Yaesu side).
We found the room clean, comfortable and well appointed. We found it roomier compared to other Japanese hotels despite having a good sized massage chair (a useful feature!).
Reasonable sized and clean bathroom; with a small bathtub and shower. The hotel provides bath salts along with a generous supply of amenities at the reception area.
Would definitely stay again!

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on January 14th - 16th with my two adult sons on our recent trip to Tokyo. It was a perfect location for us. Ten minutes from Ginza train station 7 minutes from Access bus to Narita airport and lesser than 15min to Tsukiji market. The hotel is surrounded with small shops, small eatery but big fancy department stores with designer names are anchored the entire street if you like to shop. For me, it was the room that make me want to book for another stay right away for my next trip in the fall. It was big compare to most of the Tokyo's hotels. Easily fit 3 beds and amble of room for three suitcases and three carry on bags. It has a massage chair that all three of us fight for our turn and a one and a half bathrooms. You heard right one and a half bathroom. The main bathroom has both shower and tub and all luxurious amenities. The room was spotless and beds were very comfortable. Check in and out were a breeze and staffs were gracious.
I'm highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay in Ginza district.

If anyone knows Japanese hotels then you will know that hotel rooms can be small. This was not the case with my room here. It was a decent sized room, very comfortable and clean. It also felt very modern. The bed was comfortable and everything was well maintained.
The area is close to many restaurants and is also a stone throw from the main Ginza shopping area and multiple metro stations. It is also a 15 minute walk to the main Tokyo station.
Staff are friendly and accommodating and always go out of their way to help.
The breakfast buffet is also very good as is the restaurant on site.

This hotel was okay. The beds are comfy and the bathroom is compact but well equipped.
The rooms are tiny and really only functional if you have carry on size luggage. We were constantly falling over our medium sized suitcases.
The only restaurant is very crowded and the buffet breakfast was one of the lowest quality we have experienced despite the high price.

Hotel location is fantastic, minutes walk to Ginza shopping district, next to metro station or just few minutes walk from main Tokyo station. Rooms are good size , nice clean with comfortable bed, convenient coin laundry facilities. I especially like the range of high quality green tea shampoo, conditioner, body wash that the hotel provides in its bathroom. We have stayed here 3 times over the last 5 years and plan to stay there again soon in December 2024. Thank You
