Although small this place, used to be better. They have now removed free amenities and even refill shampoo and refill the washing liquid they charge you money. For them money is most important. Not sure if I would stay here again in the future.
I stayed at this place in Ginza for 3 nights around Christmas time. It's a steal for what it was. I think I will not stay at anywhere else other than this place in Ginza in the future. The location is literally 15 seconds walk to Higashi-Ginza metro station. And there's a bunch of other stations as well within 5 mins walk. This basically means you can directly go to *anywhere* within 15-20 mins. All of Ginza is very walkable. Plenty of restaurants/shops/convenience stores within 5 mins of walk. Tsukiji market is also within walking distance. The room is small, just like other hotels in Tokyo. It has everything you'll need. I highly recommend this place. I will totally go back.
If you reach here by metro from narita airport and plan to get off at higashi-ginza station, DO NOT take the A2 exit too many staircases. I suggest you to use exit 3 at kabuki theatre. There’s elevator there and when you reach the ground level just cross the street to hotel. Hotel is very close to higashi-ginza station and 5 minute walk to ginza line(orange line) platform but a bit far away from marunouchi line(red line). I take about 10-15 minutes to reach the platform. Overall it nice location!! The room was fine but small as other hotels in Japan. Washer is availble in each room. Amenties are available in lobby.
We’ve stayed at this hotel a few times before and consistently we’ve had good experience. It’s the reason why we keep coming back. Breakfast is nice and healthy with many choices of Japanese and western style. Personally, one of the best things in the hotel has been Gayani’s (2nd floor dining) welcoming smile and demeanor. Her warm, diligent and poised attitude embodies all that is good in the hospitality industry. Overall I feel that the hotel service was lagging because of a few minor points. I have a nagging feeling that if we were Japanese, the problems would have been quickly resolved(both of us are completely fluent in the language). Firstly, we had a problem with a clogged toilet (which the technician pronounced to have no operational issues and yet the problem continued). When we gave up and changed rooms there were no more toilet related issues. In the new room the bed mattress was sagging on my husband’s side making it a bit uncomfortable. He didn’t say anything about it until checkout. Another time on coming back from outside and asking for an iron and ironing board, I was given the iron and mini board to carry by myself to my room, despite being weighed down with shopping bags. I asked if they could not deliver for me and was told that they wouldn’t and don’t. Not quite the high level of Japanese service we are accustomed to. On a more positive note, the hotel staff was courteous and instrumental in helping my husband reclaim a lost bag from the train station, for which we are very thankful. …
My second stay here! I like the comfortable bed, bathroom, in room washing machine. Complimentary Toiletries and washing washing powder is available. Shower area is warm unlike other hotels I have been to, which is a good plus point. Service is really good. I left my luggage at the reception as it was too early to check in. When I return at night, luggage was already in the room! Breakfast buffet was good, with Japanese dishes.
