The best thing about this hotel is the location as it is excellent. Our room was clean but cramped. The room and the hallways felt dark. The staff weren't that friendly. There was no flexibility on the check in/out times. Fine for a one night stay.

The rooms were uncomfortable, especially the hard bed and hard pillows with sandpaper-like sheets. Dusty areas in the room where cups are set. Expect to get a view of a wall when you open your curtains. Walls are very thin and when your neighbors move bump their headboard, it moves yours too! Loud plumbing noises that won't let you sleep. I asked to change my room and was ignored. They don't listen and are inhospitable. Front desk customer service is awful; especially, the rude expat they have installed as English speaking front desk help. He's a real piece of work, that one!

We travelled a long way from Tokyo to Osaka. The kids were all tired when we finally reached Candeo Hotel. The staff were friendly and polite. Check in was very fast. We were given our room before the actual check in time. The front desk was good as she explained in detail how do we can access the sky spa and there are instructions printed out for guest. This is really helpful. Buffet breakfast was good and my kids love it!! The bath at the sky spa was really good. It is open over night so you can relax in the hot bath after a long day. The hot bath is a public bath for hotel guest. There is a steam bath area too. Guest can keep their belonging in the locker before going for the hot bath. There is two hot bath area, indoor hot bath and outdoor hot bath. We tried both and we prefer the outdoor bath, the air is cold as you soak in the hot bath. The hot bath is estimated at 43 degree. Our room has a King size bed and a sofa bed which can comfortably accommodate 2 adult 2 kids. The king bed is pretty big and can easily sleep 3 adult. Our room has enough space for our 3 luggage. There are cafe, convenient store and supermarket nearby. We enjoy staying in Candeo Hotel Osaka Namba and will definately book this hotel again.

Good hotel for exploring the city. Nice rooftop onsen. Staff very helpful with luggage forwarding, rooms quite small but expected for this type of hotel in Tokyo. Our only issue was that they charge for an early (1.5hrs) check in!
