This location opened in November 2019 and the location can not be better. It’s 5 minutes walking to the nearest metro, 3 minutes from a large 7-11, there is a fruit grocer right across the street, and basically you are in the heart of Ginza, but still in the evenings and weekend mornings you will find it nice and quiet here. The rooms are spacious and well thought out, everything works well. The room has a natural light wood and white color scheme and there is plenty of lighting in the rooms. The staff speaks good English and is very friendly. You get a handy phone with free Internet that you can use outside the hotel. WI-FI signal is strong and you get good connection speed. Basically it checks all the boxes I have for both business and family travel. The apartment style with the kitchenette and dining table is especially suitable for families. I would recommend this hotel for sure and will stay here again next time I’m in town with my family.

We spent two weeks at this hotel. We basically moved to Tokyo for those two weeks and used this hotel as base camp. Had a most wonderful experience.
The hotel is 2 blocks from a Subway station and 5-10 mins from other Subway stations that will connect you to anywhere you want to go in Tokyo. The line that goes from Narita and Haneda is literally a 5 min walk. Within 15-30 mins to any main attraction by train.
The hotel itself is super clean, they come and change towels and garbage everyday and then a couple time they did a refresh of sheets and a whole cleaning . It is like living in an apartment, cups plates cooking utensils, stove fridge, washer/dryer, outlets were all set for north american wattages, etc. We were travelling with two teenagers and took advantage of the bunk beds.
Our experience was great, the staff is super friendly.
We highly recommend this hotel.

This is our first time staying at Mimaru Hotel Ginza East. We are very pleased with the front desk service, they are very helpful and friendly. We are also satisfied with the room, it is very clean, nicely designed for your comfort, kids will enjoy the bunk beds, adults will be relieved with lots of electrical plugs, usb plugs and phone that you can bring along during your stay. We had a wonderful stay at this new apartment-style hotel for 5 nights in January 2020. All the amenities were useful and asthetically pleasing such as a wet-room shower and kitchenette. Beds were generously sized for westerners and warm but hard (which suited us but might not work for everyone). Projector TV was fine for YouTube and digital clock but there wasn't much else to watch for English speakers.
Each room comes with a mobile phone for taking out of the hotel, which we loved for non-stop WiFi, particularly to find our way around and restaurant recommendations. We made use of the hotel laundry also, which was clean and convenient.
The room was the quietest we've stayed in anywhere as it's a quiet part of Ginza. Must be able to walk a fair distance though to access rest of Tokyo. Downside was it was very hot in the room so we slept with window open even in January!
Overall, would stay here again in a heartbeat.

From greeting me at the door to my checkout early in the morning. The team was attentive and helped me check in early! The space was super clean — and instructions on to navigate+ use the room was cool. Also, the mobile device “handy” was nice to have to read about things happening in Tokyo! Highly recommended and would vouch for this place for tourists to stay— the location is top notch too; if you’re commuting out of Tokyo to Hokkaido for example.

This is an apartment style hotel. We booked a family room with four single beds and one bunk bed. There is a dining area, microwave, fridge, utensils for simple meal. The room is super comfortable and big by Japanese standard. Beds were so comfortable and the bathroom very luxurious. Separate toilet and sink for brushing teeth etc making it easy for a family of five taking turns to shower etc. Amenities are self service style, to reduce wastage but everything is provided for including pyjamas.
We arrived late and left early but it was a very comfortable stay. We were heading to other areas of Japan before returning to Tokyo for another three nights. Would have been great if we could stay here again for those nights but they were fully booked for those dates.
Highly recommended.
The only drawback being the location is slightly far from eating places at late nights. Most places were closed by the time we arrived (9pm). We walked quite far for dinner. But it does mean it was a very quiet night to stay the night. It was perfect otherwise.

We stayed for 2 nights. A but pricey but I think that’s average for Tokyo. I did some research and for the amount I paid, this room was great for our family of 4. Spacious and felt like an apartment. Kids loved it. Kitchen was great which allowed us to cook or reheat food for the kids.
The hotel was 15 min from tsujiki outer market and 10 min from Tokyo station (walking time). We walked to the bus stuck in there and took an airport shuttle for 1000 yen each.

We decided to try this property, as then the 4 of us could be in the same room and still have some space. The room was a decent size (by Japanese standards) 4 proper beds, a table with seating for 4 and a galley style kitchen. The toilet was separate from the bathroom which was handy. Being Ginza East, it was a 5 minute walk to a variety of train stations. Being in a residential neighbourhood, it was reasonably quiet at night. Staff were friendly.

Mimaru of East Ginza was absolutely the best part of our trip! The location of this hotel is wonderful! Tokyo Train station (for Shinkansen) was about 15 min walking, but many subway stations were like 5 min or so walking distance. There is a produce/fruit shop literally in front Mimaru and that was so great for us since being a mom, I want to make sure the family had enough fruits during the trip. The amenities of hotel had everything we needed. In the lobby, there was an area that had toothbrush, slipper, lotion, etc that you could grab if you needed. Dishwashing soap with a sponge, hand and face soap in the room was a nice touch! The hotel has the laundry room so we were able to wash our clothes few times during the stay, so helpful especially since our trip was during a very hot July. We got a bunk bed and our kids loved it. Unlike the American bunk bed where sometimes the kids' head could touch the ceiling or upper bed frame, the height of bunk bed was big (awesome)! The front staffs were so helpful and welcoming and spoke in perfect English! I learned later that Mimaru is like a chain hotel apartment, you can find other Mimaru in the other regions of Japan. So we will definitely think of Mimaru even when we visit other parts of Japan!

From Narita Airport to MIMARU TOKYO GINZA EAST:
You can take Skyliner Keisei-Ueno from Airport Terminal 2 Station(KS 41) to Keisei Ueno Station(KS01). Then via Exit 6, you can arrive at Ueno station(G16) after walking for 4 mins. Then you can take Ginza Line from Ueno Station(G16) to Kyobashi Station(G10). When you arrive, just 9 mins walking from Exit 2 and you will find us. It takes about 70 mins.
From MIMARU TOKYO GINZA EAST to Haneda Airport:
You can take the Asakusa Line from Takaracho Station(A12,7-min-walking away from our hotel) to Haneda Airport International Terminal Station(KK16). It takes about 35 mins.
Of course, you can also take a taxi. From Narita Airport to MIMARU TOKYO GINZA EAST, it takes around 60 mins;from MIMARU TOKYO GINZA EAST to Haneda Airport, it takes about 25 mins.

The easiest one would be to catch a taxi straigth from the aiport.
The second option is to use the train Keiyu Airport Line--> transfer to the Asakusa Line, get off at Takaracho Station and walk from there. (It's about a 10 minute walk from Takaracho Station).
