Detailed Reviews
The hotel is few steps from the Daimon metro station exit, and short walk form the JR Hamamatsucho station. The room is quite small, but the bed is comfortable. Kettle and tea available in the room, coffee machine is in the hotel lobby. Good choise, perfect for resting after sightseeing.

Check in staff spoke good English, hotel is a few minutes walk from Hamamatsucho JR station with Shibuya, Shinjuku, Harajuko about 20 mins in one direction, and Tokyo station about 6 mins the other way, with connections from here to Disney Tokyo. At Hamamatsucho is also the monorail to Haneda airport in about 15-20 mins. We arrived from Haneda, but left to Narita, for this we used Daimon subway station (dont use nearest exit to hotel as has no lift, instead use the one across the street on same side as JT station), and this went direct to Narita every 40 mins and to Narita with only one change every 40 mins (so easy travel to Narita every 20 mins), and was only about 1100 yen (took about 75-90 mins with no luggage issues on train).
Daimon station also useful for Roppongi, Shinjuku, Ginza area and Asakusa. So all in all this hotel is very well located.
In the area itself are a number of eateries including a great izakaya on the corner near the Daimon metro stop. No English on outside sign, but go upstairs and they will hand you a menu with English on it, and you can eat a lot of good Japanese food for little money. Also nearby are a shrine and Tokyo Tower. We went up the World Trade Center (next to Hamamatsucho train station) for 500 yen each (using voucher online) and we would highly recommend this, for views of area including the Tokyo Tower.
Hotel room was small, but designed well with space for case under bed, or under desk; plus wardrobe space. No bedside table, but headboard is wide to allow for glass of water etc.
Curtains blocked out most the light, room was quiet, air con functioned well and toilet had lots of electronic gizmos.
Free wifi in rooms now and comfy bed.
Only issue was they didn't provide much toilet paper when room service came, so we had to ask for extra!
We left a coat on the plane and hotel staff were kind enough to phone the airline and arrange for it to be delivered to the hotel. Amazing service and very happy to recommend this hotel. Would definitely use again.

The reason why I chose this hotel was because the price was reasonable compared to others and the reviews where great. Being my first time in Japan I didn't know where to stay but after doing my research I found out that this is a great location for a good price. The rooms are small but clean, the staff is friendly and are keen on helping you even when their English is limited. My room had a great view of the Tokyo tower and there's plenty of restaurants around. The hotel is about a five minute walk from the Hamamatsucho station where you can easily hop on the JR Yamanote line to go to many of the main Tokyo attractions like Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Harajuku. There's also a Buddhist temple within five minutes walking distance on Daimon street. My boyfriend and I walked to the temple one morning and had breakfast at a great french bakery right next to the temple called Le Pain Quotidien.

Good location for tourists.
Although little in the immediate vicinity, the hotel is conveniently located 5 minutes walk from the monorail terminus for fast connection to Haneda Airport and is within walking distance of the fish market, Ginza shopping area and Imperial Palace.
Rooms a little small but spotlessly clean.
Nice fluffy white towels.
Pyjamas provided clean daily.
This otherwise quite good hotel is totally let down by the inadequate breakfast facility.
The dining room is just far too small resulting in long wait times to get in. On our first morning we had to wait for half an hour at 7am. On the second morning we managed to get in just ahead of the first rush but by the time we had finished breakfast there was the same long queue again. Pity because the breakfast buffet selection was quite good.

If you are coming in from Haneda Airport, this hotel is walking distance to the station where you can catch easily catch a direct train to and from the airport. Taxi wasn’t too bad too at around $30-$40 depending on traffic. Our rooms included a breakfast buffet every day and the food was amazing. You have to try the salted mackerel!
Rooms were clean and they even provide bathrobes, pajamas, slippers and plenty of toiletries. The bathtub in our room was poorly designed though and I was constantly worried of water coming out onto the surround floor.
Beds are extremely hard (common in Tokyo) and it was a little hard to find a good restaurant to eat around the hotel that accepted credit cards or had an English menu.
There is a “handy” cellphone device in the room that you can take with you anywhere during your trip. We used it to access google maps and get restaurant recommendations as well as to call the hotel for help if we were lost. I think all hotels should offer a device like this. Very hand for first time visitors to Japan.
I still recommend this hotel though and will most likely stay there again if we ever go back to Tokyo.

There was a thick layer of dust in the corner beside the bed. The desk and shelves were also filthy. We had moved the Kleenex container which was very dusty and the cleaner put it back without cleaning it. The room is very small which is to be expected. The main issue with the size was we couldn't use the provided suitcase rack since ther was no room to put it. On the plus size it was nice to have a fridge, kettle and safe. The location is close to a JR Yamanote line and the Asakusa metro line so getting around was easy. The hotel is also close to Tokyo Tower.

A nice clean hotel with lovely staff. As per previous comments hotel rooms in Japan are small, but we were very cosy, and felt safe & sound. Double/Queen? bed was a nice size. Good location if coming in via Haneda airport. Very close to the Diamon and Hamanatsucho stations, so just catch the trains to the shopping areas.

Stayed here for two nights in November 2013. Well located hotel near the Hamamatsucho station of the JR Yamanote Line and about a 5 min cab ride to the Tsukiji Market (trains dont operate til past 5 am, by then you wont catch the tuna auctions). This hotels pretty much delivers on the essentials- clean well-appointed rooms, courteous service, prompt check-in and check-out. Great value for Tokyo.
Directions to the hotel: From the Hamamatsucho Station, turn left upon exiting the station (the World Trade Center would be at your left and you can see Tokyo Tower in front of you). Walk straight ahead until you meet a major intersection, at which point you turn right and walk along the Daiichi-Keihin street, you'll find the hotel to your right (past Family Mart).

Location: Amazing!
1. You are well connected by JR lines, Toei subway lines and the Monorail (18 minutes from Haneda Airport).
2. Walking distance to Tokyo Tower, Shiba-koen, Zozoji Temple
Finding the hotel: Can be rather tricky.
1. If you take JR lines, take the NORTH exit and turn left to exit towards World Trade Centre building. Keep walking along the street until you reach a major intersection (Daichi Keihin). Turn right and cross the street and walk along Daichi Keihin and you will see Family Mart (Good place to stock up on water, snacks etc). Keep walking and you will see a BLUE sign that says "Hotel MyStays Hamamatsucho"
2. If you take the Monorail from Haneda Airport, take the Central Exit towards World Trade Centre building and follow the same directions as the JR lines.
3. If you take Toei Lines, take A2 exit. As you exit the stairs, turn right and walk down Daichi Keihin. You will also see Family Mart and then the BLUE sign.
Room:
1. Amenities: It will blow your mind! (Ok, not quite)
For the price paid, i am surprise to see a humidifier in the room.. that was definitely the biggest plus! Yes, it may not have wifi but it has free wired internet. Bring along your wifi router if you want WIFI in the room.
2. Cleanliness. It is definitely clean enough for Japan standards.
3. Size: We stayed at the Double room which was good enough for us. Toilet is clean and there's a bath tub! Also, we managed to fit 2 large suitcases and 2 carry on luggage.
Staff:
1. They were awesome and ready to help anytime!
Summary: It is a place that is not pretentious. You don't have to worry about jostling with the crowd after a day out. IT is not a tour group hotel and lets hope it stays that way. There are plenty of food around the area and it is a beautiful area to stay at.
Give it a shot. Its worth it!

My husband and I stayed in the hotel and found it to be clean, quiet and well-located. We could easily get around the city from the hotel and found a Le Pan Cuotidien within 5 minutes walking distance which was a great option for breakfast and close to an interesting temple.
The free coffee in the lobby was great and the hotel is close to a mini-mart that was open late, so we were able to get something when we got in at 1am.
Don't hesitate to book a room here.

Hotel MyStays Hamamatsucho is at a walking distance from Hamamatsucho metro station. Disney sea Tokyo and Hamamatsucho have metro stations and time required to travel by metro is about 50 minutes.
Nice hotel but relatively small without mush facilities so I doubt there's a spa or massage service.
Yes. Second floor. Y100 coin operated. 2 washing machines and 2 dryers.
From Narita, Daimon station is the best one as you don't need to change trains and there is an exit into the same street as the hotel then it's a very short walk. online. It is Keisei (not JR) Railway that starts under both Narita terminals and the one that goes directly to Daimon leaves at approximately 45 minute intervals during the day. You can either ask at the ticket counter or go for the train whose destination is Haneda Airport. (Destination is Narita Airport on the outbound trains from Daimon.) The Keisei train turns into Toei Asakusa Subway Line while it is running through the city. Daimon station is marked as Station A9 (in the subway system) so it is the 12th station after the train turns into a subway at Oshiage (A20). Download the free travel Japan wifi app so when you arrive you can use maps.
