The bathroom fan wasn’t working, so the small room smelt so bad. Poor internet connection, unusable night and day. Cleaning not great. Not useful for business or tourists at all. They should focus on improving basic hotel services and cleanliness.

We found The b akasaka-mitsuke on accident when we initially wanted to book the b shimbashi but by the time we got to booking all the rooms had been booked. The b akasaka-mitsuke is a good little hotel, it served us well and it was situated right around the corner from the akasaka-mitsuke station. Be warned the rooms are quite small, if you planned on doing any form of activity relating to your stay in your room you may find it difficult, but if you're purely using the room as a home base to start and end the day, it's perfect. The staff are warm and friendly, it's a very short walk from an amazing little bar called Izakaya Sanzoku. It's right near some convenience stores and pharmacies, and there's a huge Bic Camera where the station is. All in all, a very good little hotel room for our 5 nights. A little bit more room would've been nice, but for me personally I didn't mind at all, the price is good and the location is fantastic.

This hotel is pretty cool and is right in the middle of the action in the super-busy Akasaka district. The rooms are tiny, but the bed and bathroom were just great. The lobby was in the middle of a refurb which was complete when we came back for a second stay after visiting Kyoto, where we stayed at the same hotel chain. There is a free-to-use expresso machine, a nice touch. The staff were polite and helpful (of course). You get a voucher for a modest but tasty breakfast at the attached café. Recommended, if you are OK with squeezing yourselves into such a small room.

The hotel is a building site and there are NO facilities - no coffee, no laundry, no lobby, no internet access point ... you have to go outside and around the block for breakfast. Bitterly, bitterly disappointed. We booked this hotel back in May and have 6 nights here after having spent 2 weeks travelling around Japan. Our worst experience by far. They should have advised us and we feel the chain has been very dishonourable by not contacting us about this in advance. We would NOT have stayed here Not a good way to end our trip and our time in Japan. Stay somewhere else.

The room was small, but very clean. Little small bathroom, but very functional and good bath amenities. Hotel located very close (3 min walk) to metro station Akasaka, so very convenient for transportation purposes. Also the area around is full of restaurants, bars, food stores opened late, therefore a super convenient location. The price was also convenient. Breakfast was served in the adjacent cafeteria Excelsior where you had to chose among 6 menus, not very sophisticated, most of them with sandwiches, but also a good Japanese style one. Excellent tea. Reception staff was helpful, i.e. they recommended me a massage center nearby which was good and had reasonable prices. To be noted that a twin room is really small for two persons , therefore we were rather squeezed in..A bit difficult to fix the air conditioning to a lower speed.
